FIRST AND FOREMOST:
I am creating this thread to challenge ideas and to have a creative discussion using facts. I intend for this to be an educational experience (high hopes, I know).
WARNING: This has turned into a long long read...
RULES REGARDING FACTS:
Every data point should be backed...
QNX isn't my thing, and I don't know if it's anyone's here. But lately I've been noticing DNS buffer overflow attempts that have been blocked by Cisco AMP, from IP's in PA to the MME. Blackberry admitted to a BadAlloc bug affecting 175 million vehicles and medical equipment ( CVE-2021-22156 )...
I don't need to say more. Read it for yourself:
This would also "likely" apply to online orders where it lists ADM if it's going to be applied. That order sheet that you get should be sufficient since you are leaving a deposit as an agreement to the contract. I'm not an attorney but I would...
I just wanted to make this clear to everyone. I love PaaK and I'm so grateful that Ford gave me a perfectly working digital key. I no longer have to keep my FOB on me and I can rest assure that I will be able to open my Frunk, drive my car and enjoy a FOBless lifestyle.
Because I don't cary a...
Since I've owned the GTPE there's really only been a GSM update along with an RFA update. The RFA update kinda messed things up and the GSM update was preventative maintenance.
Today there's a round of additional updates available for the GT/GTPE and here they are:
These ARE NOT OTA updates...
Google just announced their feature drop with digital car key. Unfortunately, you can't keep your phone in your pocket and it works much more like an RFID badge than a traditional keyless fob/entry device.
I had high hopes for this, but seeing the video makes me like PaaK even more.
Maybe if...
Today when I got to work and walked away from the car I noticed that the passenger side DRL was much brighter than the driver side (very noticeable). This would be the exit delay on the DRL's.
I didn't take a picture and at first I thought maybe it was an optical illusion based on the sun, so...
Teslarati gets trolled by a video submission and then leaves the click bait title to, you know, uphold the journalistic integrity of our press.
Although there is a pilot program for supercharger access in the Netherlands it's not in the USA, but Teslarati falls for it anyway.
Enjoy the laugh...
I've reported this issue already to the appropriate people via DM's but I just wanted to make a public post about it because I feel it's a moderately serious issue that people should be aware of.
Steps to reproduce:
Leave a door ajar
While connected to the vehicle with PaaK and showing...
Preface:
I have a dashcam that is connected to my Verizon phone plan with a SIM card and it will do basically what Sentry mode does, alert me to movement in or around the car when it's parked. This of course requires power to run the camera when the car is parked and off. By itself that's not...
As an MME owner I can feel better today knowing that at least we have a better trap speed than a porta potty. We still have to address that 5 second thing though...

The revised version of FordPass 3.35.2 is out that addresses issues with 3.35.0 and it invalidating the PaaK key.
Per a Ford Android Lead Engineer you should only update if you are still on 3.34.0 or if you setup the key anew on 3.35.0. If you are already on 3.35.0 without setting up the key...
NOTE 11/28/21: This version is no longer published and available. It has been replaced by 3.35.2 in the play store. This thread is being used for many topics so in order to get to relevant information please see the notes below.
It would appear that the FP 3.35.0 app breaks PaaK completely...
I haven't seen this observation posted anywhere here previously so excuse me if my searching and memory failed me.
Today I went to a DCFC and put 40kW into the vehicle. I noticed when leaving the DCFC that I was max throttled on power for 7 minutes.
I'm not sure if this was observed with...
The day has come that some Tesla drivers dreaded would happen... In the Netherlands Tesla has opened a pilot program to allow non-Tesla's to use the Superchargers. Although many here might despise Tesla, this would be a welcome change and open up many more charging possibilities for us...
First of all, I have @horsiedad to thank 100% for this idea as I got the idea from him and I have to credit the original creator of the idea @dtbaker61 and his post here. I didn't know that @dtbaker61 had originally done this. My way was different than his so credits to him, but here's a...
I've seen so many posts here where people have named their cars. While I once named a car "Betsy", for humorous reasons, I have never thought about giving a car a name beyond that.
So I'm curious as to how many of you have named your cars.
Today I noticed that there's a GSM Module update available. This module CAN NOT be updated OTA.
EDIT: It would appear that this update finally showed up in a TSB as documented here.
This is interesting as it's the first update that I've seen that Ford cannot address via OTA. I'm not saying...
First and foremost: This is still a working theory and a few of us are trying to work out the bugs to see if indeed this is a fix for most users. What we know is that there is a module update for the first module in the chain of modules for PaaK. There are many cars that need updates to modules...
