Today my dealer communicated with me that they are "having difficulty logging into the new system."

Any chance you can post that screenshot? I've been googling for it, but haven't been able to find it.Thank you for the info! A quick Google even provided me a screenshot to send along with the instructions to my dealer. ??
The F&I person is usually the sleaziest of the group. Squeeze blood out of a turnip they can. After placing my order on Saturday, I had an appointment with my salesperson on Monday. While I was there, the finance guy came over and introduced himself. He clearly instructed my sales guy that I had to give a $500 payment to the dealership before he could accept the order. I told him that the order process on Saturday included the $500 charge but it made no difference. He believed that would be the reimbursement from Ford, not the $500 paid in February.
I did get the Ford credit back (on my initial credit card) but I still have 2 charges outstanding. I don’t mind having $1000 down on the car if this washes out in the end. Just another example of the well meaning dealerships not being well informed.
After logging into WBDO, look for "Useful Links," then click on "Online Order Acceptance Portal". Once open, Mach-E order requests should be under, "Orders Requiring Attention."Any chance you can post that screenshot? I've been googling for it, but haven't been able to find it.
By the way, I called the MME help line to ask what would happen if my dealer can't figure out how to accept the order. They said if the dealer doesn't accept it within 7 business days it will get kicked back out to a reservation and can be resubmitted to the same dealer or a different dealer at that time. None of which should change the reservation number or timestamp.
Sounds like the $500 taken during the online order process is being taken by Ford on behalf of the dealers. Dealers don't know how they're getting it to their accounts and don't know if they can refund it.The 2nd charge for me showed up on my credit card as going to the dealer. I would have pulled up the app and showed him that "Look this $$ is going straight to you!".
In addition to that Ford's refund of my initial $500 deposit showed up in the account as the very next transaction.

If the dealer read the Reservation to Order to Conversion job aids they would know.Sounds like the $500 taken during the online order process is being taken by Ford on behalf of the dealers. Dealers don't know how they're getting it to their accounts and don't know if they can refund it.

Same for me. And next transaction was a credit for my deposit to Ford. It's rare to see a refund post so quickly. Good job Ford!
Mine says something similar, but I think this was taken by Ford on the dealer's behalf. I don't think it was taken by the dealership's banking system. My credit card shows it went straight to the dealer:

Perhaps the Ford refund of the reservation deposit has to be processed by a human? I converted Saturday and the refund came on Monday. The 2nd charge for me showed up on my credit card as going to the dealer. Make sure you keep LOTS of documentation that you paid 1000 and not 500 overall. I guarantee only one of those 2 payments will end up being credited to your final purchase. After placing my order on Saturday, I had an appointment with my salesperson on Monday.
