I also just got a call from FoMo, but my rep wasn't as helpful. She just sounded overworked and stressed out. I asked a few questions, but didn't get any real answers to them. She did quote me a delivery date of 4/17 to which I replied, "Oh, it's shipped then." Her answer was no, it's still waiting. After some back and forth I told her that I was no expert, but based on what I've seen here there's no way my vehicle will make it to the California Bay area in 3 weeks. The last question I got in before she let me go was, "are you just reading my VVR?" Her answer was yes, so I basically learned nothing more than I was able to find out on my own.

I emailed my 'liason' and asked her for
1)full VVR history, which she did not provide but my dealer did (no change since 3/2)
2) what boat is the car suppose to travel on (she couldn't tell me)
3) what trucker would take over in Jacksonville port (she couldn't tell me)

Basically who knows. I have no idea how she knows that my car is scheduled to leave port 3/31/22 without knowing what ship it is going on.... Looking at the Jacksonville Port vessel information there are 3 ships that are vehicle cargo ships arriving in Jacksonville, April 1, 2 and 3 Not 100% sure where their previous ports are. Hopefully Veracruz, i keep looking for ships routes but i keep looking!!

What do you guys think this means? I got a built email and an estimated delivery date between 5-22 and 5-28. Previously, when I tracked the modules, a ton of "stuff" was shown. I went to go check today and all of a sudden I can't track my order, can't get my window sticker, and I'm back to having zero modules shown as active. Did my car go offline? What the heck is going on?

To my surprise, tracker shows my Mach E as shipped this afternoon after being stuck in built since 3/3. However, I did not receive any email nor did the ford.com reservation page update to shipped. So I am cautiously optimistic at this point.

Twinrice, I think it means that the Ford tracking system is as awful as always. Better to look at what the system is telling you over the course of a few days at least, reading the tea leaves with any greater frequency than that seems pointless to me.

I sometimes think in 100 years people will look back with the supercomputers with digital archeological built in archive reconstructing AI Hacking that lets them see and understand how all computer systems worked historically in the "olden days" and laugh at us for thinking that anything we tried to gleen from the Ford website actually meant anything more than we today believe the stars are actually in the shape of crabs and hunters in the sky. We are trying to impose logic and order on a flakey system that is poorly maintained and usually means nothing.

By the way, when someone in the year 2222 discovers this post, my official prediction is that said personal supercomputers will be mounted in your nostrils, powered by your breath, and waste heat expelled onto your upper lip to promote mustache growth which will have gained popularity with the new unisex population of your century. First.

I called Ford Customer Service this AM and was told car was shipped with an estimated delivery date of 4/5.

Got this VVR from my dealership’s GM this afternoon. No email from Ford ,but shop.ford.com says shipped with no dates. Seems like “Chip Hold” has been replaced by “Delay - Convoy Carrier” ?

Wonder what the difference is between “Delay - Convoy Carrier” and “Delay - Rail Carrier”.
Since we are in neighboring midwestern states, one would think both would be waiting a train ride to KC and then truck transported to our local dealers.

I picked up my car today from the dealership (Walnut creek ford). Finally!. In and out of the dealership in an hour and a half. I went with the Ford options plan. They applied price protection and x-plan discount. I didn't even have to ask them about it. They didn't try to sell any extra stuff. Just asked me if I'm interested in the Extended warranty and protection package, which I declined. They asked me to complete the credit application and submit documents online yesterday. Overall, the dealership experience was fantastic. I'm glad I ordered from them.

As for the car itself, it was well worth the wait!. Paak worked fine. Had some minor issues with the Ford pass app. It was slow and was not updating the charging percentage properly.

I picked my 2021 red GT from there today as well! Overall great experience. No questions about my X plan. My Ford options numbers were different than what was on the website (no difference on apr at 1.4). I think it had to do with the lower residual value on a 2021.

I finally received my built email this morning. Estimated delivery to Texas says 4/27-5/3. Finally a little excited again about maybe seeing this car in a month or so.

Well I woke up to my Shipped email this morning! Delivery estimate is April 10-16.

The weird thing is I’ve read several people show Shipped in the Ford tracker but haven’t gotten the email yet. I got the email but it doesn’t show in the Tracker yet. Not sure what to think about any of this.

Congrats! I always hope dealerships like this are overly compensated by Ford for not playing the annoying games that makes car salespeople the 2nd least trustworthy profession in the US.

If yours was a 2021 > 2022 conversion, did you also get the $750 price protection?

I got my "shipped" notification yesterday morning. I don't think the Tracker showed it immediately. Still no check mark in the "shipped" bubble, the last checked is "Built", but right above it says:
Shipped
Your vehicle is In Transit or on its way to your dealership. Transit times vary based on your location and the plant where the vehicle was built. This is a great time to explore "Ford Accessories" to see how you can personalize your vehicle.

My ETA is April 22-28. My Ford.com account under my reservations and orders shows "Shipped - In Progress".
