I have been complaining to my dealer about this. Also Ford Motor Co but they seem to be useless, talk to your dealer, who tells me he doesn't know anything more than a 2 week old VVR. I am VERY Curious. All these built emails but nobody is curious why there isn't a single shipped email from those who were put on chip hold previously? ?
Something with this doesn't feel right at all.I have been complaining to my dealer about this. Also Ford Motor Co but they seem to be useless, talk to your dealer, who tells me he doesn't know anything more than a 2 week old VVR. I am VERY Curious.
It is strange that there are so few people posting that they have received a ship email. All these built emails but nobody is curious why there isn't a single shipped email from those who were put on chip hold previously? ?
No apologies needed for the rant. I've had my fair share on this forum. It is strange that there are so few people posting that they have received a ship email.
I got a built email on Mar 2 with an estimated delivery of Mar 28 - Apr 3.
On Mar 4 I got and update changing the delivery date to May 4 - May 10.
Last week the estimated delivery dates on Ford.Com changed from the dates in May back to Mar 28. No email or communication from Ford or the dealer.
Shipping to Atlanta may be a little quicker than places on the west coast. But it is very unlikely that it could arrive in the 28 Mar - 3 Apr time frame if it has not been shipped. Neither Ford.Com or Shop.Ford show a shipped status.
I called Ford Marketing last week. I spoke to someone who was very friendly but could provide no clarity. My salesman does not respond to my emails and I am reluctant to push them unit I have something tangible.
I think this general story fits a few people here. The conflicting info and lack of transparency is annoying.
Sorry for the rant.
That is strange on a few levels. I would think that Ford would want to ship as many units as possible to get then sold before the end of the month. Their numbers for Feb were not great. I thought they would push at the end of the quarter. The backlog at the plant must be getting out of hand too.No apologies needed for the rant. I've had my fair share on this forum.
What just confuses me is that I've jumped on multiple build groups and have seen a lot of people who were part of the Friday night chip massacre (myself included) get these built emails. Dealer can confirm from the VVR it was released from hold. But I can not find ONE individual who was part of the chip hold, that got their built email, to confirm a shipment yet. Not even one.
Are you the only one in all of the US to have actually gotten a '22 RT1? I feel like I have yet to see anyone else here or in other parts of the forum receive one. How is the mileage? Did I miss a dedicated forum group to the RT1? Yes, I know, a lot of questions.Reading all the latest posts surprise ADM of $500 doesn't seem so terrible anymore
I'm with you on the stranger part. What makes it worse is the lack of transparency and information from Ford. Without real updates we are left to our own devices to try and figure out what is going on, and as humans we tend to go 'worst case'.No apologies needed for the rant. I've had my fair share on this forum.

I am in exact same situation. ..That rant has been going on in my head for past 10 days as well as to Ford.com, my dealer, twitter... How can it get to my dealer in a couple weeks if it hasn't shipped yet???It is strange that there are so few people posting that they have received a ship email.

Yes, I've got 22RT1, I believe it was one of the first to leave the assembly line on Jan 3.Are you the only one in all of the US to have actually gotten a '22 RT1? Yes, range. Like what does the range look like in the real world if you extrapolate it out.Yes, I've got 22RT1, I believe it was one of the first to leave the assembly line on Jan 3.
mileage you mean range?
Estimated miles were almost twice lower then 300 when the car arrived. But it was only 9 miles on the Odometer and the message appeared stating that it was tested in an extremely cold environment (probably it was cold in Kansas that day) and that range is not accurate.Yes, range. Like what does the range look like in the real world if you extrapolate it out.
