I just chatted with Ford. (meaning ford.com chat function). The last VVR I had showed the car (4/8) is on rail car KCS 008276. The person on the chat confirmed that my car arrived at Junction Point in Laredo, TX on 4/11/2022. She has no visibility for when I will get it, but she said I should by 5/8. The website says 5/2-5/8.

Yeah, mine is scheduled to hit Loredo today, but Ford's site just changed my eta to 5/9 - 5/15.

Who is your dealer? Mine is Fullerton Ford of Orange County (formerly McCoy Mills).

My dealer just called to tell me that my Mustang is on an ocean voyage I told him I already knew that and I didn’t want to bug him until after the boat arrives tomorrow. What he did tell me that was interesting is that once it hits the port Ford is not going to pay for any storage fees and that it will probably go on a truck immediately. He said I could have it in a few days we’ll see. Have I said this before. ITs Happening!!

Mine also arrived last night in Laredo, TX. Departs tonight and will arrive in shreveport, LA, Departs on the 15th and arrives in Kansas City on 4/16. After that it goes by Convoy.

Where did you find the chat? I used the one on the main Ford.com site, but they said they can't see any details. They can basically see what I can see using the Ford vehicle tracker.

This is the site I used to chat with Ford 2 days ago. They gave me the location of my MME...the dealer (whom i like so far) said their website was down twice when they looked the last week so I decided to try the chat and bypass the middle guy.

I'm actually having a difficult time finding when my delivery is scheduled except for the emails I get moving the date in and out....nothing on the tracker site except to say it shipped. Mine is in Kansas but in my chat they still said it would not arrive to Vancouver WA until 5/20-5/26. Wish I could just fly and drive it home.

Built 3/1, shipped 3/15...ordered originally 6/10, so looks like almost a year from order to arrival. I sure hope we like it and don't have any bounciness issues.

Only bright spot is the MSRP keeps going up.

I wonder where the yard is in Jacksonville. Got to think that those by rail and port go to the same distribution center for trucking. Any idea who the trucking company is??

It is the one on the main Ford site. They can look up where the vehicle is, what is it's current status. That is how I learned several months ago that mine was on chip hold, last week that mine was in Laredo, today that mine is in KC but still on a KCS railcar.

If your vehicle hasn't shipped and isn't on a chip hold or similar, then perhaps they cannot tell you any more than you can get from the Ford vehicle tracker. If it has shipped, they can tell you where it is now (or at most recent update). If on a railcar, they can get the railcar number. If the rep is unwilling to give you any of that info, then try again and hope you get a different rep. Or call the 800 customer service #.

United Road is the last mile delivery for autos. Unfortunately, they do not have automated location lookup like the first step carries (like Norfolk Southern)
