I wonder where the yard is in Jacksonville. Got to think that those by rail and port go to the same distribution center for trucking. Any idea who the trucking company is??

I read this as they move into port at 3:00 am and have her docked by 4:30 am. Hopefully the longshoreman are ready to tie her up and get her unloaded. She's getting docked at the Blount Island terminal.

Wait, so what does the United Road link show exactly? I input my VIN, and all the columns except Order ID are filled in. Is there some other icon for "we have it" "we're moving it" "we dumped it at the dealer"?

I created a logon to their system and it shows me all the vehicles ready to go to dealer and those that recently got there via United. But the pickup for United is like 5 miles from my dealer in an area called Ford Miami 7300 NW 69 St Miami. I just dont know how it gets to the Ford Miami location....

It is the one on the main Ford site. They can look up where the vehicle is, what is it's current status. That is how I learned several months ago that mine was on chip hold, last week that mine was in Laredo, today that mine is in KC but still on a KCS railcar.

If your vehicle hasn't shipped and isn't on a chip hold or similar, then perhaps they cannot tell you any more than you can get from the Ford vehicle tracker. If it has shipped, they can tell you where it is now (or at most recent update). If on a railcar, they can get the railcar number. If the rep is unwilling to give you any of that info, then try again and hope you get a different rep. Or call the 800 customer service #.

I rarely post but read nonstop. The shipping delays are pushing me over the edge.

I originally ordered 5/12/21. Converted to 2022 like many others. In production 1/6. Built date of 3/5. Got an email that car shipped on 3/26. Order tracker shows car transferred from KC to Birmingham MO on 4/7. Figured my car would be arriving in Ohio any day now. Just got an email from Ford saying estimated delivery will be delayed until 5/13 - 5/19. Unbelievable.

What the heck could be the delay with the vehicle at the railyard in Missouri? Very frustrating. If this estimate holds...will be over a year from order to delivery.

Same thing here. Car got to KC a week ago. The Load populated on United Road over the weekend, so I was getting pretty excited. Then I just got an email from Ford saying it would now come a month later in mid-May. I’m hoping that’s a mistake, but we’ll see. Very frustrating.

You are so close, like me (also a May '21 order). Could be any number of reasons for the delay. This delay is negligible compared to the whole wait. You are almost there!

hang in there. shortage of truckers makes moving autos between rails and to dealers an unpredictable situation. it’s strange times and we will get there. you are definitely not alone in this process.
