This is what you did when you created your profile in the app when you first got the car. They've just added more stuff to it. It's a one time setup so you won't see it again.

It is really dumb that it is a one time setup. What if I want to shuffle my radio presets? Or I could decide to cancel SXM, or move to a new city and have new AM/FM stations. And what about in the future if they add new features to the profiles, like temperature setting, as an example.

Got my 1.7.1 update overnight, but there is nothing telling me that I did. I know I got it because a) the car behaved weird during my short drive, and then b) I see Notes. After powering on/off a few times, car is behaving fine BUT under updates it just says I'm up to date, not that I just got 1.7.1. Sloppy, sloppy.

Apparently I received a FordPass message on Wed 11/10 that I had the 1.7.1 update, but didn't look for it or read it until just now.
My automatic updates are scheduled for Saturday mornings at 2:00 AM. I think it is possible that they sent the message on Wednesday, but I didn't actually get the update until today (Saturday) because of my auto update schedule. SXM radio would not take preset channel changes all day today Saturday 11/13. That was the only issue that I noticed. I just noticed the "dowloaded" symbol this evening, and went in and confirmed 1.7.1 was installed. Once I exited back out, the presets were working again it seems. Went into messages and found the message from Wednesday. Mine is a build date of 2/1/21, purchased new on 4/24/21. I signed up for early access a while back, but have never been invited to participate.

Maybe add a category for those that received the "IT'S OK, WE'LL TRY AGAIN SOON" message indicating the update failed. The car was in the garage with WIFI connectivity when I suspect the download started. When I pulled out of the garage and noticed the sync screen displayed a half dark and half light background. The setting is normally set to dark mode, but had switched to 'auto'. I changed it back to 'dark' mode and that corrected it. The car was probably receiving the update (based on the time stamp of the failure notification) at that time, but once I leave the garage there is no cell coverage for several hundred yards, then spotty at best for the next mile or so. The download process probably timed out. All this is speculation on my part, but would make sense if that is the case. It would be helpful if ford could give a notification that a Power-Up download was in process. I would have waited for it to complete before leaving. The failure notification states it "will try again at my regularly scheduled update time"...whenever that is?

Our update to 1.7.1 failed yesterday and this morning when I left the garage the screen stayed dark. I drove for about 5 miles to Lowes to get some paint supplies and then I came out and restarted the car it cleared up. Don’t know if this was related to the failed upgrade attempt?

Got 1.7.1 on 11/9. The car updated while I was running some errands. I only noticed the update because some of my settings were changed (driving mode reverted to Engaged from unbridled, back up camera delay turned on, radio presets gone). Went through the settings, clicked on updates and saw the update had successfully installed. Not a minute after got the same notification on my phone. Other than those minor hiccups, the car is working fine.

Car (CA Route 1) built in May and took delivery in July.

Notification to update came Monday night, November 8. Updated overnight. Shows version 1.7.1, but no Notes, etc, as of yet. Early access only. I'll update poll after Notes comes through.

Update: Two weeks after accepting the update in the MME to 1.7.1, I received notice in FP that I have an update pending for 1.7.1 and need to accept or connect to wifi. Since I am already connected to wifi in the garage and I accepted the update in the car already, I seem to be stuck. No new features have been added. Will update when something else happens.

Any eurocars seen updates yet? Given that we got 1.4 and 1.6 like 6 months after NA, it should be possible that Ford made a mistake and updated someone from Europe..

Looks like they may have paused the rollout again. Since the 15th only 2 people have marked they received the update.

I just wanted to bring this thread back up to the top - I see a lot of people talking about how their update is in progress or has completed. I still have not received an initial attempt, and I'm starting to feel like I may be in the minority (yes, auto updates are turned on).

Updated my vote. 1.7.1 came in last night with no issues. Interestingly, the update screen in my car went from "you are up to date Version 1.4.0" to just "You are up to date"

I been stuck says i have it with no features. It's been close to 6 weeks in that state. Auto update is grayed out and no 1.7.1 features just say in my car I have it.
