10/24 Build date

Hello from the 10/10 build group - I was "In Production" on the 13th and finally last night updated to BUILT - one of the other folks in our group was suggesting that Ford is holding the cars at the factory as they are having issues with scheduling rail/convoys so rather them sit in Mexico than at a Rail Yard

I am thinking you might be an exception. Looking at the 10/17 thread, the week after you, lots of them have been not only Built but also Shipped, and in some cases have been so for a few days or more. I would not go assuming that "suggestion" is anything other than fearful speculation (which doesn't mean there might not be delays - that is possible). Unless they cited something meaningful?

One thing that *has* been true is some cars in a given production week group get built and shipped within that week, or a few days after, but a few stragglers are delayed for whatever reason. Sadly it seems you are in that last group.

I show no modules yet. You mean your screen shows "Download File"? I checked mine, looks like an XML or other tag-value script, and everything is "could not find" the various data types. Are you saying yours actually contains module data? If it does, that should show on the screen without having to download the AB file.

So, that is the default, empty screen. It means you don't have any modules yet. Downloading the file just gives you the tag-value data that would tell you the same thing.

If you have a VIN, and a build date/week, then there is no chance you are getting a 2023MY MME. There is a high probability, however, that you won't get it until 2023.

Usual sequence of events is: Body Shop (assembly of basic chassis) -> Paint Shop (gotta make it pretty) -> Assembly line (put all the parts in, including a giant ass battery and electric motors, activate modules, etc) -> QA inspection -> Built status. Usually the car goes to the Body/Paint shop a few days before it hits the assembly line portion of things.
