I've seen people refer to getting a "tear tag" when their car is built. I can see the definition of the term. But how are people finding it, or finding out about it?

You can find it In the module information page. It will be listed below your VIN.

Looks like we are the last two Canadian Mach-e's! on the forum, at least. ?

However, you'll probably get it before I do though since I am on the west coast, usually 1 week behind.

It'll be fun following the vehicle through tracking with CP rails once it leaves Kansas City.
I am just glad its finally happening! ...soonish.. ?

Typically you can get it from ford chat, but it depends on the agent, so luck of the draw.
If you are unlucky with ford chat, you can get it from your dealership by requesting them to provide a "vehicle visability report"

there is a thread 2 days ago that mentioned ford dealerships in the USA have been introduced to a new vehicle tracking tool "VinView" that track the car through its Celluar/GPS.

Sweeet!! Scheduling cars is probably like everything else, way more freaking complicated than one would expect unless you are in the industry. I am in Software for Automotive dealerships, holy sugar, it’s really complex. I can’t imagine what it’s like to build a car …
