10/24 Build date

I've got 19 vehicles in the tracker for this group. I find it interesting that two people got their cars on 11/18 (one in MO, one in WI), but no one has taken delivery in the 11 days since.

Last night my railcar, sitting in Elkhart, IN, for 5 days, went from "Notification Ground Only" to "Actual Placement of Car". Based on other threads, I suspect it will go from that to "Unloaded" pretty quickly, maybe a day or two, at which point it is just waiting for the truck to take it to the dealer. Getting closer! I've got appointments on Thursday to get my trade-in valued at CarMax and a local Honda dealer. Those offers are good for 7 days, taking me through 12/8. Hopefully it arrives in that timeframe.

Good luck, I am on day 13 with the car stuck in Elkhart. My guess is they don't have enough haulers to Chicago.

I suspect this might vary pretty widely by dealer. I am sure there are trucks going in and out of there daily. Probably a matter of timing and luck, when your vehicle hits the lot at Elkhart vs when a truck who can/will stop at your dealer happens to come in for a haul. BUt you are probably also right about the lack of trucks available in general.

My ETA last I knew was 12/2 to 12/8. But those Ford estimates jump around a lot and from what I am seeing from other posters, they are not very reliable. I see a common theme where the delivery windows get pushed out, then suddenly the car shows up early.

My status updated this morning though I am suspect of it. My car is here in Ohio about an hour away. Ford chat just updated my status to ETA 1/24/23. I just can't see how it would take that long to go an hour when we get shipments from up there almost every other day, but maybe I'm just not as aware of the process.

@FirstPony The CP railcar that my MME was on landed in Toronto this morning. I suspect that they'll truck it to where I live from there (depending on time of day, it's a 45 minute or four hour drive - gotta love the good ol' 401). I'm not getting my hopes up that it'll be available earlier than the 9th... oh come on, who am I kidding, I'm trying not get my hopes up. ?

My car reached Toronto on the 24th and it's still at the rail yard. Dealer is located in downtown Toronto (20 kms away) but ETA is still Dec 21st. I wonder what's taking them so long to get the car to the dealer.

Let's hope they are able to deliver before the current ETA.

So my car is now in Delaware. It has officially passed by me now. I should have stood in the backyard and watched the rail car roll by. Now it is waiting for a truck I guess. I don’t think it will beat the 12/5 delivery.
My dealer has had two other mme built 10/7 and 10/13 come through.

According to Ford chat today, last update has mine still sitting at the dreaded Ramp 6R. Its been sitting there since 7AM 11/23. Asked my dealer for another VinView update, we'll see if there are any additional updates. If it still is in Richard Gebaur, I don't have a ton of confidence that it will be making the estimated 12/9 delivery date to Seattle.

At this point, I am afraid to do Ford chat! I really don't want to find out it is sitting on Ramp 6R where it has been for weeks. I am really holding on to the delusion that it is just their antiquated tracking system not being properly updated, and that I'll be getting a call from my dealer next week. I know they are moving, because I drove past another dealership that had SIX MMEs parked in their lot on Monday (there was one there the Tuesday before Thanksgiving).

Reached out to my dealer today, and they are saying that my car is currently in Montreal. Seems pretty close to me! They also said it could still take a few weeks to arrive from there, which seems odd, so hopefully not the case. I will gladly go pick it up myself if they would let me!

Dealer called even though car is waiting for truck transport To the dealer, it will not make the delivery deadline of 12/05. They are not sure when it will come now.
