I was a bit bummed yesterday with my news, but got the word today that my car was picked up via Norfolk Southern, I'm assuming to move to Avon Lake in Ohio before coming to my dealer/work. May have worked in a dealer for almost 10 years but this is the first time I've ever ordered a vehicle, what an exciting yet anxious process lol. Still no ETA showing, but having a railcar, I'm gonna guess in the next 2 weeks HOPEFULLY lol

What dealer? I'm in the 10/3 build week and still waiting for my car to be delivered to Sarchione. Someone who's car shipped two days before mine got theirs delivered to Sarchione this week.

Sarchiones in Alliance? That would be where I am at! We had 1 get delivered this last week and I know the guy who ordered it so if you are talking about the Alliance store, hopefully yours will be in soon!

I wish I had access to the tools the salesman use for tracking lol

Yep. The guy who got his this week is on a Mache forum on FB I am on. Sounds like he was probably in the same build week.

If you got word that your car got picked up by NS, that's more than I've gotten. Ford Chat will only tell me that they can't track it once it's in transit and haven't heard from my salesman. Do your salesmen have VinView?

All of my communications with info like that have been from Ford Chat. Our salesman, atleast the one I'm working with, have VinView. Just got it set up like 3 weeks ago or something. I tend to just ask Ford Chat lately because I don't wanna be a bother up front lol, that and I'm usually stupid busy in the shop.

You could try stopping in or texting your salesman and see if they can look up the VIN View of it, there's gotta be some info on it somewhere. Mine went for 2 days last with no info and no ETA, status changed yesterday afternoon..

I'll check back with my salesman. I had texted him 11/10 and he still had it at Ramp 6P. Texted him the other day and he didn't answer, but just figured he was busy and also know that sometimes texts get lost in the shuffle. Will probably shoot him a text tomorrow.

Just want to get my car before the end of the year! I might still get a tax credit if I get it before Jan 1, but I won't get any credit next year.

That's exactly where mine was stuck at! Yeah they've been busy the last couple days so thats probably what happened.

I have the same concerns about the tax credit so I get it lol

My car left Ramp 6P sometime around 11/20. Watched it go through Kansas (briefly), Missouri, Illinois, and into Indiana by the 23rd. But then it got to Elkhart, IN, on the 24th, with a status of "Notification ground only" as of 10am that day. And it has been the same for 3 days since.

I had thought for sure they would train it into Chicago, the Torrance auto loading facility that Ford uses for other things. But now starting to think they are unloading onto a truck in Elkhart instead (which does have an auto loading facility but much smaller)? Or, maybe the train car is just parked in Elkhart temporarily, waiting for a train to take it the remaining very short distance to Chicago. I don't know what "Notification ground only means".

I checked with chat this morning and my MME is on a railcar on the BNSF and passed thru Argentine KS. Arrival at the dealer is still 11/29-12/5

Well the initial ETA of Nov 19th - 25th has passed. According to Ford Chat, it is still sitting in Richards-Gebaur. New ETA is December 11th.

I have the same situation, been sitting around in Indiana since 11/17 with no movement to chicago. How did you get notification ground only update/status?

I got the railcar info from Ford Chat. Then I called the Norfolk Southern automated help line to get updates. I call once a day basically. Here is how you do that for NS:

NS Norfolk Southern
1. Call 800-635-5768
2. Press 2.
3. Press 2.
4. Enter the letters on the numeric keypad then press #. Example: COER is 2637
5. Enter the numeric part of the ID then press #.
6. Press 1 to confirm after hearing your equipment ID.

That will then give you a last status of that railcar. Mine still says "Notification ground only, Elkhart, Indiana", and has been that way for about 5 days.

I was very confused about the CSX info and I ended up calling Kansas City southern. They were really nice and told me things are on the move. Destined for Shreveport on the 30th and then IFG in Missouri on Dec 2 which I guess is the end of the line for them and it gets handed off.

I sat outside Chicago (Hampshire) for two days but am back on the move. Arrived in Indiana early this morning. I'm guessing since they're on haulage lanes now they won't provide the cities but we'll see what CP can do.
