Congrats on circumventing the system! Did they do any better on the markup?

Do I still get to hang out with this group since I still have a car on order? Maybe I should get a second one???

Also, the one I ended up with was built seven in front of the one I ordered.

It was #401 on 10/27 and the one I ordered was #408 down the line on the same day.

Might be interesting to see if it makes the delivery window? You know, for science.

Yes, I ended up with A Plan and 3.9% financing. So, ~3% off MSRP. Plus, since I switched dealer locations, I ended up saving 1.1% on tax rates too. So, that was an added bonus.

Which dealer did you buy from? Downtown Ford? I didn't really like buying from Downtown VW when I had my GTI so maybe it's a downtown thing.

Yes. Downtown Ford. They were the only one's who had allocation left for 2022. Everyone else said 2023. I booked mine in August 2022.

Ahh, I ordered mine in May, so maybe they're sequencing them by order date?

I short circuited the system and purchased on from a different dealer off their lot.

I reached out to them last night as they had the same build as the one I ordered. I asked if they would consider A/Z plan and took it without much hesitation.

So, this afternoon, I signed the paperwork and became the proud owner of a Space White Mach E GT. Pictures to follow tomorrow when the sun is up.

Funny that this one was built 7 cars in front of the one I ordered. Crazy that this one was here already and the one I ordered is still waiting in MN.

Taking scrb31 off the board and adding some other recent updates (congrats to all the recent deliveries!), our group is now at least two-thirds delivered to dealer (14 of 21):

My build date was Nov 1st but was supposed to be in the 10/24 week. Ontario, Canada

I was part of the 10/17 build week. Mine was built on the 21st, shipped on the 24th. I'm picking it up this afternoon, a Premium ER AWD in IBSM ordered on Feb 10. Just got back from the dealership doing the initial paperwork., and they're cleaning it in the shop after lunch. They gave me a fair trade for the 2015 Cherokee and after tax, license, and one dealer add-on for wheel, paint, and windshied protection, I'm about the door at about $50k, with no addditional dealer markup over the window sticker. My sales rep also let me know they're going with the Elite EV format, so I'm feeling pretty comfortable about the purchase. With the Wrangler 4xe as my daily driver and as a backup for the wife's MME, I think we're all set.

So much exciting news from everyone.

I've been tracking ours on the Norfolk Southern Rail. For a few days it was chugging along, but today when I try to track, I don't get the automated information. Instead it connects me to a person. I had read not to bother people so I've basically just hung up. What gives? Last info I got was that it had arrived to Ohio.

This would be a lot of fun if I wasn't worried about the end of year deadline.
