12v battery message

Hey ,

I received a message through the ford pass app that my 12v voltage was low or something similar I closed it out on accident . The charge of my battery was at 77% so I think these two things are separated. Anyone have any idea what this message was about or if it is an issue I should be concerned with? This is my first EV and im 1 month in owning used still learning...

Yes the 12V percentage is separate and you can't see it. There are a few reasons why it might be low, the most common are because of 3rd party apps accessing your charging data, or welcome lighting being repeatedly triggered. For more info on causes, see my topic:

I had same issue from time to time and as @Mach-Lee told me, I shut off the welcome lights and haven’t had an issue since

Keep the car plugged in all the time. ABC…..Always be charging! I added an 300 watt amplifier (30amp) and I never have this problem. That’s with the welcome lights on.
