12v Time to replace?

With all the 12v failures,
did a test today, once the car went back into sleep mode(30min after opening the frunk).

Its a 2021 April build,
first test came back good, then the second test dropped below 75%, with the battery rated at 380CCA, can i recondition the battery, or should it be replaced?

Since you have a First Edition, I would say that the 12V battery has reached the end stage of its service life. Replace it since reconditioning will not do much for it. ??

if you have read about all the 12v failures occuring at the 3 year mark, why in the world would you NOT replace it for the $200 it costs??? c'mon....
Well, unless you are the gambling type, then I say since you are out of warranty, keep the original and see if you can set a record!

You could try a reconditioning charge which might help some, but at this point the battery is almost 4 years old.

All indications point to it being very close to replacement time. You could probably make it until spring if necessary.

I learned my lesson. After 36 months replace it. Almost every parts store has the battery available. Go with an AGM type battery.

Take it from me, the 12v battery died on me without warning and left me on the lurch 1 week before 3 years. It’s time to replace it!!
