With the square corners and flat surfaces, looks more like a CyberTruck than a MME.

I actually emailed Jim Farley's office, I'm curious to see if it is officially licensed, I'm guessing they're not.
It's on the internet, it must be true! ?

They are official. The bikes are sold online or in person at participating Ford Dealers.

See the bottom of the website.

? And what advantages does this e-bike have over a train?

Which I could also afford.

Odd - other than the logos and for $300 extra the optional paint colors, there really isn't anything about the styling that ties them to their namesakes.

But I gotta tell you I'm surprised that we're already on the second page of posts and no one has asked about its HVBJB...

If only the MME came with a tow hitch so I could put a bike rack on the car
Never understood why the European version gets it but we don't...unless they just don't trust Americans to be smart enough to not tow things way too large for it's low weight rating.

In Europe the vast majority of cars are towing capable. So Ford had to have it to meet the market demand. In the US far lower percentage of people tow, so it was a place the bean counters could cut - that along with the tow hook in the front and the second set of cargo rings in the trunk. It is my understanding that the European version has extra bracing in the rear to support the tow hitch, so theirs added cost to the base car - same for the tow hook and even the cargo rings.

I think this is a scam site, it says "officially licensed" I think the whole thing is off. In a world of ugly ebikes, these are even uglier.
Apparently not a scam, but definitely not a Ford product.

It’s built by “N plus North America Corp.”

And with a name like that……. Of course it’s a Taiwanese company. ?

Apparently they just pay licensing fees. They also make “Mercedes” bikes.
https://nplusbikes.com/

It’s the internet, so of course there are some complaints-

I don’t want/need one but it’s kinda a cool idea if you are a big Ford or Mercedes fan.

It's all fine and dandy until some random OTA update bricks it! ;)

If you think Ford dealers have trouble servicing MME's wait until you try to get them to fix one of these bikes. You'll note that e-bike dealers have had to purchase special work stands for these hefty bikes so they won't break their Park stands or the mechanics back. And bike shops are not likely to want to work on an e-bike they didn't sell for a variety of reasons. The early post of this had the dealer cost and retail which if I recall was pretty skinny. That will stop Ford dealers from wanting to screw with these bikes. Maybe Bronco owners would buy one?
