2021-2024 hardware/software differences

Now that it seems the 2021s have cought up for the most part with 10.1.1 finally being released.

The question has probably been asked before, but are there major differences between 2021-2024 Mach-E's that have prevented the software updates from being released simultaneously?

Does Ford have an official EOL date for when they will stop supporting updates for older Mach-E's?

I just got my 2021 a few months ago, and for once had good timing with the recent updates, but had no expectations of them happening.

This does give me hope that Ford is still committed to the platform and seems to be doing the updates with less issues like they did in the past.

Well, perhaps they've caught up in North America but not for the UK and probably the rest of Europe. I only recently received 6.14. On the bright side for the rest of us you lot can be the beta testers before new software is released to the rest of the world.

It may seem that way to you, but the last update my '21 job 2 received was last May for 6.14. Maybe you meant to say that most of the software updates are now finally being trickled out to 2021s. But, if you're saying that for the most part 2021s have received these updates, I'm curious as to the source of that information.

No one in particular just seeing posts that people with 2021s have been getting the updates.

I bought my car used in September 2024 and did not start getting updates until this month.

I'm not in early access or anything like that, so I thought that Ford had finally opened up the floodgates.

Yup I have it set for 1 am everyday. I was just told by ford to go get my IPMA reflashed

Supposed to get my first OTA since 6/24 tonite. It is the blue cruise update. Will see what happens.

Seems like once you get the bc 1.3 update, the other updates come soon after.

2021 MME First Edition. No update since 6/24. However, did just re-signed for Blue Cruise. It downloaded but does not function like our 2023. Have no bloody idea what is going on with the software!
