I'm in the same boat with a failed 12v battery. After they swapped it the supposedly new one also got sucked dry overnight at the dealership. The dealership finally got around to a parasitic drain test which passed. They keep going on about "there's just so many codes to diagnose" and mention codes like the stereo and single pedal drive mode.

My '21 Select had all the errors and wouldn't start on Wednesday. Towed to dealer using Ford Roadside (no charge) and dealer fixed it with Customer Service Program / CSP advisory 24B42 updating the PCM s/w. They said the 12V battery is in good health so didn't recommend replacing it. I will pick it up within a few hours and see how it goes! Best of luck.

Invalid VIN, please try again. But I probably can’t see anything if it won’t start.

If you are jump stating it, make sure you are using the jump points under the hood not in the bumper.
@Mach-Lee , Not sure how I managed to type the VIN wrong but I did. The VIN is 3FMTK3SS7MMA52019 (SS in the middle of the VIN, not 55).

Yeah, it's not reporting, but I do see a bunch of low voltage codes leading up to it. I see your 12V battery has gone bad.

So I would start by replacing the 12V battery, my guess is that will probably fix it. If not let me know.

I do not believe so. ??
But the 12v is part of the original 3yr/36 months warranty. I have a ? In to granger. Would really make the extended warranty more attractive.

Given that the 12V AGM batteries in the MME have a functional lifetime that is about 3-1/2 years, I don’t see why the ESP would cover it. The ESP doesn’t cover brake pads, and they last a lot longer than that on an MME. ?‍♂?

Thanks for taking the time to look up the codes. I appreciate your updates on this thread and the many other thread updates I've read while trying to get up to speed.

Right, consumables are not covered.

12V batteries are not covered by ANY extended warranty, and I'm 100% sure on that. From a warranty perspective, they are designed to last 3 years. If you buy a replacement from a Ford dealer, it comes with its own 36 month warranty.

Holy electric shock Batman.
The Dealer called; they fixed the car today (1 business day turnaround). HVBJB failure; repaired. They said a bad line was also affecting the 12v battery and the hood release lever (by the driver's left foot). They will drop the car off at my house tomorrow.
Then it's back to lead-foot fun,

Good to hear they managed to get an answer to you quickly.

Was HVBJB work covered under warranty?

Were there any error codes that made it obvious it was the HVBJB?

The symptoms are described in the thread; it was not obvious there was a HVBJB problem. And yes, the repair was covered by the warranty that came with a blue certified used car.

The HVJB is covered as part of the 8 year/100k mile EV component warranty that is federally mandated in the US.

But, it should have already had the new part, dealers are not supposed to sell cars with outstanding recalls.
