2021 Mach-E not receiving OTA updates

It's my main fear that they doesn't see any update..
I'd like to try to do FDRS procedure myself or find some way to update via FORScan..

Do not attempt the update or flash the APIM with FORScan. You will brick it. The APIM can ONLY be updated with a USB drive.

Edit: Not to mention, it would probably take 2 days to write 6GB via CAN bus even if you could.

If your car is not showing any updates for the APIM, GWM, TCU or IPC, there is nothing they can do to help. I doubt that the dealer contacting engineers will do anything since it's the engineers themselves from the Sync development team that have the updates on hold.

My car was in Ford 2 weeks ago
They did some recalls and probably an update, but it's still old..
I don't think that the reseller ask to Ford to do all the updates.. But I'm not sure about that
I would like to check with FDRS before going to the dealer, but I don't the correct OBD

You don't need the cable to check FDRS; you just need the subscription. You only need the cable to apply the updates if there are any. It will cost you to buy access to FDRS, though. If all you want to do is run your VIN through FDRS to see what updates (if any) you have pending, you can do that.

I found out today that my SYNC version works with Apple Maps EV’s planning, because my iPhone asked me if I would like to Connect Maps to my Mach-E
I’m happy about that, even if it doesn’t precondition the battery

Today I also found out that Ford maps aren’t updated.. Where I live there’s a street that was built about 10 years ago but I cannot find it in Ford Navigation
There’s a method to update them?

Today I went to a dealer that controlled my car.
There are some modules updates and also a recall for the back camera, but nothing about SYNC version..

I update the thread because today I pick up my car fron another dealer that has update every module of my car thanks to the rese camera recall
At the Moment I haven’t any update on SYNC, but some icons now are different and it appears YouTube that it isn’t present before

I’ll see next days if some updates arrive

That I may be able to help with. Message me the VIN. The config of certain modules may need to be corrected with FORScan for BC to work. Some cases are more difficult than others and I may not be able to get it work, but we can try of you want.

I don't know which modules were updated, but it's the recall about the APIM. I don't have the receipt from the dealer at the moment.
Probably I have to update modules like GWM, RFA, BdyCM and something else
I already have the shortcut camera on top before the update, but now the icon is new

At the moment, I didn't have the possibility to buy the subscription, but I can use FORScan for about 1 month
