2021 Model Year - Update Stoppage

I have a 21 Job 1 and hadn't seen any updates in a loooonng time. Late spring got the minor one to update for Tesla/NACS support and one other minor one about sound or something, but seemed "stuck" at 6.8.0. Just this past week, I jumped to 6.14.0 and had the longest set of release notes that I've ever seen from Ford. It even mentioned that the primary purpose of the update was brining '21 cars up to parity with later models.

And finally can open the frunk electronically! That was really one of the last "promised but not delivered" I had on my list. So 3+ years later, I'm "feature complete"!

I do hope BC 1.3 gets deployed, though in my neck of the woods, there aren't any qualifying roads. But on a few road trips, it was "nice" and I did re-up (the $800/3 year re-up,not the bonkers kilo-buck one).

We have a 2021 premium AWD and it has been quite a while since we have had an update too.
How do I determine what the last update was?
I don't see anything on my Fordpass.

My Job 1 2021 Premium received those updates you mentioned here earlier this year. I am stuck at 6.14. Last update (minor) was June 11th.

6.3 here even after FDRS. It’s not just the PITA, I mean, OTA.. it also depends on if your car is targeted. It could be by vin, year, job number, currently updated modules, needed updated modules, module update sequence, misalignment of the stars etc. After fully updating my car I didn’t end up with updates for the new ui. There’s too many factors sadly.

I would not have purchased the renewal if I knew I would be stuck with the existing package for this long.
Yes, there is some degree of shame on me for hoping the update would come. However, at the end of our subscription earlier this year, we were given the impression that our price would not be valid if we let it expire.
So here I am, wasting my money on a product I don't want, hoping that the promised update comes...

Same. Email Ford and let them know you’re upset - [email protected]. I think that’s all we can do other than make our next purchase elsewhere.

Looking at these posts reminds me of how a manufacturer is quietly hinting to everyone whose 3 year warranty is expiring to get into a new vehicle....

I know that I am going to jump ship when my 3 year / 36 month warranty expires after a recent TSB that was done and took 2 weeks.

Having been Ford's first gen, beta tester, experimental data collector - I will be looking for a second gen EV in 2025.

Hoping Ford will come out with a much improved EV by then ????
