Just purchased my second Mach e. This one is a pre-owned 2023 premium. The trunk Close/Set button and the kick sensor didn’t work when I bought it. Since it was still under warranty I took it into the Ford dealer for repair. They called me two days later and said, “The trunk Close/Set button does not do anything on the 2023 model and there is no kick sensor installed. This was all due to chip shortages at the time it was manufactured.”
Are you F’ing kidding me? I’m sure there are other posts here that discuss this but I couldn’t find them.
Tell me this is not so?! It sounds insane to me that Ford would do this!
Can anyone share any insights on this?
Thanks.
