2023 Mach e software update issue?

My last update was: 23-pu1113-unx-dc

This was end of February 2024. My friend with an older Mach-e has received 2-3 updates since.

I’m using the LTE or cellular connection to download updates but it’s no longer proposing to install new updates. I’m not sure what is happening. What can I do to verify if I need new updates?

You're not alone. But the updates come when they come.

Actually, a promiscuous goat is preferred. If you cannot find one, it is acceptable to make a virgin goat promiscuous. See your manual.

Hey guys, I am in the same boat with a 2023.5. Can you guys post your VINs on the FDRS thread? @Mike G found with mine I am missing a variety of key updates to the GWM, APIM, and TCU modules which he found odd. Im wondering if you are suffering from the same thing I am. Here's the thread and my post where Mike G responded with what he saw:

My suspicion is that we bought vehicles that may have been sitting on the lot for 3-6 months with no intermet while the prices were dropping.

I brought mine in for service last week to try to solve this but Ford wanted $199/hour for up to 5 hours to catch it up because the warranty denied the claim since nothing is technically broken with the vehicle. I am now going back and forth with Ford BEV team and have a case pending to see if they can handle it with my dealer.

I recently purchased a 2023.5 GTPE that had been in inventory for ~6 months. Since I have been driving F150 Powerboost trucks for 3 years, I had already acquired the necessary tools and experience to scan the new car and see if there was any updates available. Much to my amazement there was 16 updates available.

Car is amazing, by the way. And although I am Android and don't use Android Auto but occasionally, I've experienced nothing but rock solid connectivity when I do.
