You missed a few dates:

August- 2022 orders cancelled and changed to 2023

Early September- announcement of removal of multiple features

Late September- price increase

Early October- dealers add ADM online to 2023 orders, multiple scared macheforum members post threads

Late October- production delayed

Early December- another recall announced, stop sale order issues

Late December- all colors except black and white are discontinued

January- first 2023 models delivered

Just to clarify so I understand this, the likelihood is orders not yet receiving a production date are most likely going to be converted to 2023 models, is that correct?

Ford has not stated that.

If there's one thing I've learned after living through it, it's that there's no point in guesstimating because there are far too many unknown variables to be anywhere close to accurate.

Well, that’s what they did last year, but they also seemed to learn that lesson and closed the 2022 order banks waaaaay sooner and did it based on specific trims.

So ideally, they’re trying to prevent anyone from having to switch model years.

My dealer has told me that we will need to convert my order to a '23 on 8/25. A couple of people on these forums think there's no way he could've known that, but he isn't one to generally be guessing or making something up. I guess we will know in a few days.

He may be right, but he’s still guessing.

We know 2022s are going to still be built up until October, when they switch to 2023 models.

Zero chance he knows for a fact that your build date falls after October.

Now, he is correct that you CAN change to a 2023, but that would be a new order at new prices. Don’t let him make you.
