I am planning to purchase a 2023 MME Premium AWD with Ext. Battery and Night pony package this week for my wife.
I spoke to multiple dealers and the Final MSRP they are asking is 45K + Plus Taxes. (0% Int. For 5 Years)
Any thoughts? Is that a good deal? Or should I be asking for a better deal?
Plan to purchase one by end of this month any help is much appreciated. TIA

I bought the 2022 Premium AWD with the extended battery back in May 2022. All I will say is that I wish I could have paid $45k then haha. Sounds like a steal frankly.

WIth the $$$ you will save I suggest you also buy and put on the KW v3 coilovers... those will solve any pogo bounce issues your 2023 might have and besides they are just far better, far longer lasting shocks.

That’s about #10K less than my X-plan price was in 2021. ?

Mine was $47.3, including bc for 3 years and a mobile charger, before Illinois’ $4k tax rebate (net $43.3). And I got it at the height of the pandemic and in the middle of the model year. Try talking to other dealers. We, mere mortals, know nothing.

The only way to find out is ask other dealers for their best equivalent deal. I paid $10k more using x-plan for my ‘21 Premium AWD ER. Got a good deal at the time.

I saw the comment about changing the shocks. How does this affect the cars warrant?

It's significantly less than I paid for my 23 Premium AWD with Ext. battery and that was after a week of bargaining and getting the $5K "market premium" removed.

That said, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Depends on your stomach for bargaining and whether you're willing to walk away.

May as well ask for a better deal. I paid considerably more for my 2023 CART1 with extended range battery the end of last November. Moreover if you are expecting a range of 300 + miles (as advertised), I’d be surprised if you achieve it. After 3,000 plus miles of driving mine has never charged to 312 miles of range (per advertisement, salesperson’s assurances and EPA predictions) despite charging to 100% at my home Level II charger or at a variety of superchargers. The feedback from others on the forum as to why the car registers a maximum of 284 miles (and doesn’t ever deliver on that amount of range) is less than satisfactory given my experience with two other EV’s I’ve owned.

It doesn't unless a major mechanical fault happens afterward and the dealer / Ford Rep can trace it to the changed component as the cause. See the Magnuson - Moss Act of 1965.

Got the exact same car (minus the pony package) Dec 2023 for little less than 48k, OTD. This includes the tax rebate that it was eligible for at the time. So, depending on the sales tax you need to pay you are getting about the same price without having to deal without having to wait for your tax return.

Any time I see threads like this, I am quickly reminded how expensive my bloody GTPE is!
Ugh, the pain...but, I still love driving it...
