Hello, looking for opinions on the purchase of a 2023 premium with 26K miles, window sticker lists Blue cruise 1.2 but still trying to verify.

Test drove with dealer, everything drive wise seems fine. Has anyone ever had issues with door latch, seemed to me it wasn't opening the door when pulled, took a 2nd attempt to open it. Has this ever been reported before?

Biggest issue is a crack in the windshield that dealer never disclosed. Size of the crack is smaller than a dime and didn't look too deep, I'm willing to take it as it but want almost $2000 off the asking price of 28,990, offering 27000.

My 2023 GT had similar issue ; the right rear door latch. It started with an error message on driver IP. They replaced a module in right rear door. Then after the code was fixed, and I picked up the car, the door wouldn’t work. Took a few days to notice, as rarely do I use that door. It opened fine from outside, but inside you couldn’t get it to open. They said a simple cable had come undone between the lever and latch. a new subassembly and all’s been fine since .

Door latch - my right rear failed and cost around Ā£500 to fix. There’d be a DTC if it was actually faulting.

However, that crack in the screen is bad news and may seem small now but will run into a longer crack. The screen is laminated so any crack/s will run until it they terminate at edge of screen or a drilling during a screen repair, for example.

Thanks for the replies, would you buy it as for discounted price, have told them I'm not interested in them repairing it. Would rather take care of the repair myself. Replacement by Safelite along with re-calibration is over $1K.

If the flaw is as small as you describe, Safelite can probably repair it. I have a similar occlusion - a ā€œspiderā€ that is about 1 CM in diameter that I had repaired last year. I can still see it, but only because I know where to look for it.
