Will be interesting to see how this plays out. The credits are part of US Income Tax code and not a tariff or price reduction so not sure if it falls under WTO preview.

According to the IRs website, '21 and '22 Mach-E's all qualify for the $7500 deduction. Probably to early to say for sure about the '23's, but since it looks like the battery sourcing requirements don't come in till '24, I'd be surprised if those "put into service" before the end of '23 didn't get it too.

Dealer ended up having someone back out on a ‘22 Premium AWD yesterday and I was able to snap it up. Yes I paid ADM, but with the ‘23 price increase and uncertainty about the future of the Federal Rebate it seemed like a good move. IL has a rebate as well but with limited funding, so this nearly guarantees I’ll get that while it would likely be out of funding by the time I got my ‘23.

Yes I paid ADM, but with the ‘23 price increase and uncertainty about the future of the Federal Rebate it seemed like a good move. IL has a rebate as well but with limited funding, so this nearly guarantees I’ll get that while it would likely be out of funding by the time I got my ‘23.

Not sure what your ADM is as but agree with your approach.

For IL you will have yours in before 9/30 window closes and that almost guaranteed you getting 4k.

So I have access to buying two models - one is a Select RWD with tech for $5k over MSRP and no rebate. And the other is premium AWD extend range for MSRP and no rebate. I keep going back and forth over which one I should snap up. Might still order one with the colour I want - any thought on which model is holding its value best? The premium is going up $13k in Canada, so I’m thinking it might be the play here

Mahwah Ford. Straight MSRP, Price protected (I guess it could always go higher)
According to them there is no negotiation on the MME, Bronco, Transit Vans and something else (it was hard to focus with all the big numbers being thrown around). They did offer free coffee, and I can prob squeak a Ford shirt out of the deal, maybe not.
Listening in on the conversation behind me there was a walk in that tried to buy the Bronco on the floor. He made them an offer. The manager came out and nicely said they are not taking offers. The 15k ADM is included, no negotiating.

As far as I know, Chapman in PA was offering 3% under invoice but I need to confirm that is still the case. There is also a broker doing 5% off MSRP but it would need to be picked up in DC or shipped.
I ordered my 22 online at MSRP, was a little nervous about the dealer but they were fine and local so it worked out.
