What the hell is a California duster

In case you aren't aware, the heat pump can act as both a heater AND as a cooler. The Frunk was not a deal breaker. Just rather have the bigger Frunk than the heat pump which I will not likely ever use in Southern California.
I thought a California Duster was a Plymouth Duster in California. What the hell is a California duster
The slot on the driver’s side is how they were able to say that the frunk was only 40% smaller rather than 50%. I suppose it is useable if you needed to hold a couple of file folders there. ??Please forgive the lack of frunk comparison photos (except for mine, post #13 which finally has some)
The most bizarre thing about the 2025 frunk is the cliff on the right side where the heat pump apparently no longer needed the space.

I use my frunk frequently (not necessarily daily). I do like the fact that it can hold a rollaboard as I do back into parking spaces when I go to the airport and it’s convenient to put my bag there. It also is the only fully concealed storage compartment in the vehicle, so if you have valuables, or something like a backpack that looks like it may have something valuable in it, your item(s) aren’t sitting next to a closed window with an infant inside, just inviting a brick ?Please forgive all of the sarcastic replies (except for mine. lol.) They aren't meant as an attack on you personally. It's just that there are a lot of frunk related threads lately.
You might feel better knowing that few people actually use the pre-2025 frunk to it's full capacity. (There are a lot who do, but I think the majority of mach-e owners don't.)
No, I’m using the bathroom I’m in the midst of remodeling as my excuse for not upgrading this year ?Between the smaller frunk and the shifter change from the rotary dial to the right stalk, it's amusing how these 2 changes are the excuse people who weren't going to upgrade anyway use to justify why they are not upgrading.
I definitely don't. Other than for some mods, I've popped it open about four times in over two years just to show my friends, "Hey, check out the frunk!"Please forgive all of the sarcastic replies (except for mine. lol.) I think it's just a vestigiality at this point. Probably cheaper for Ford to keep it in the production line than retool to remove it.Wait.. does that 2025 frunk still have the button to open the frunk from the inside? lol. If so, it's hilarious. I don't think it would be possible for anything THAT small to work a button.
I was picturing a long coat like the kind worn in the old west. That would fit in the frunk and could be useful in California!I thought a California Duster was a Plymouth Duster in California.

My larger frunk is very useful. I keep my work clothes, and big boots in it .Please forgive all of the sarcastic replies (except for mine. lol.) They aren't meant as an attack on you personally. It's just that there are a lot of frunk related threads lately.
