Luckily, I'm a canine! ??

Great. Now I'll have to take a Benadryl. I'm allergic to leashes....

All this complaining reminds me that it's a dog eat dog world....

BTW, if I haven't mentioned it in the last couple of years, that's a very handsome dog. :)

Leashes are just fine, but I do prefer Tri-Tronics power steering (aka the shock collar). ??

In this part of the world it's a Poodle eat waterfowl world. ??

I used to work with someone who said: "So your sister is handsome like your father and you're pretty like your mother." ??

I have legitimately used my frunk 1 time and I own a 22 CR1. I used it when I moved from Baltimore to the coast of NC. And to be honest it was only used to separate my handguns and my ammo in case I was pulled over. A frunk for me is a niche thing and not a must have.

Funny how people bitched about not have a heat pump like the Tesla's do. Now they have them and they find something else to bitch about.

Enjoy driving the car, it's a great care.

As I’ve said repeatedly, I’ve never complained about not having a heat pump. I’ve sung the praises of the large frunk since I saw it on the show cars. No inconsistency here.

You can make some of the people happy all of the time. You can make all of the people happy some of the time. But you can never make all of the people happy all of the time.

@Jimrpa isn’t the only one. I was quite content without a heat pump and I still am. I'd be looking elsewhere first, rather than at the Mach-e, if I was buying a new EV today.

I’m glad I live in the desert where having a heat pump really isn’t much of a priority compared to living somewhere with below freezing temps.

Heat pumps are more efficient than conventional AC compressors for A/C as well as heat.

That said, it’s comically small. Too bad there wasn’t a color in 24 I was really drawn to.

Oh!
Hell No!
The 25’s frunk doesn’t have cup holders? What is wrong with Ford these days. No cup holders, no deal.

Meh. Just fold down the rear seat center arm rest and use those. :p

Can anyone share what the energy efficiency is with and without a heat pump under the same environmental conditions? Winter driving/summer driving.

Yesterday, I drove my 2024 MME4X over 500km at 20°C (outside and inside with AC off) and the car reported “0%” for both climate and external (98% for drive, 2% internal). So I’m guessing that’s a good baseline for a “no heat pump” performance.

Also, Mustangs are famous for their long hoods. You get rid of the frunk what do we do with that space. Should we shorten it and become an ID.4? Or even “ugh” an EV6

What about the heat pump noise ? Some people complaint about the pump beeing noisy.
If you haven't heard Tesla heat pumps, it's noisy. Not to mention winter time. At least I knew it was working !
