I think the black looks ok. Changes it from plain to stylish highlight, even if the full decal is not easy to see

Adriatic Blue with the clear matte stripes looks very nice. At least the AI version

I think seeing some of these colors and stripes at a dealer, auto show, or in the wild would be great

I am curious if the 2026 Rally "standard" spoiler has the same texture as the "large" spoiler, or if they are using a gloss black standard spoiler.

Jim, as Mark mentioned, no the GT seats are not ventilated.

In order to have ventilated seats, the seating material used must be breathable (porous structure) for maximum airflow OR perforated material like vinyl/leather. The GT Mico cloth seats are neither of these. The material is not breathable and the perforations are only there for design to display a reflective silver in the GT model and Navy Pier Blue in the GT/CS model. As long as Ford uses this Mico material or non-breathable perforations for the GT seats, it will never have the ventilation option.

Mark, ok, I guess I get that. But then, why does the 2026 Ford Explorer Tremor have "Unique Miko Suede Perforated Inserts with Red Stitching and ST Logo" that are "Front Captain's Chairs, headed and ventilated"?

Because the perforations in the Mico Suede allow them to have the ventilated seats. They certainly can do the same thing with the Mach-E's GT seats but instead they choose to have a colored material (silver on the GT, Blue on the GT/CS) behind the holes for style. Maybe in the future Ford will eliminate whatever is behind the perforations on the GT seats and leave the holes open for ventilation?

Got it. I didn’t know there was another material blocking the perforations. I wonder why the foam in the seats doesn’t block the perforations? Is the foam visible through the perforations in other vehicles? I don’t recall seeing it in my Lincoln with ventilated seats (but it had leather, not micro suede).

I would guess that the trim part on the sides would be textured, but on the top it would be the same piano black as the rest of the roof.

I was finally able to get a look at the 2026 build on the Ford website and I'm really disappointed in some dumb things.

I'm sure most (all, probably) of this stuff was already know, but as I finally look it up, it's just really dumb. Like the GT not coming with magnaride anymore. And the price increase for the performance add-on. AND... since they're now part of the "performance and handling" package - you can no longer seem to add the gray/machined-face 20" wheels as a separate option. You MUST add the whole P&H package to get them. I HATE when single options are locked behind more expensive packages.

Even though I've been holding out for a 2026 Ioniq 5N, I kept checking on the Mach-E as a potential option to upgrade from my 2023... and it feels like they keep doing things to push me away. Smaller frunk because of the heat pump (but I do want a heat pump). Now the frunk is an add-on option. STILL no ventilated seats in the GT. Now separating out the magnaride, and dropping the nicer wheels as a standalone option. Just... wow.

And really, that Adriatic Blue looks like it'll be pretty sweet. Too bad.

I get it that not everyone wants everything in a package.

But I like the idea of cosmetic and performance upgrades going hand in hand.

Especially for a “Mustang.”

The whole “looks fast” cosmetic only upgrades give a very 1990s early 2000s Honda and Toyota vibe.

Isn’t the Mach-E GT optioned out still like $10k cheaper than the 5N? With more range too and still a bigger frunk even with the heat pump.

Not to excuse some of the packages but apparently a bunch of people don't use the frunk so they could save $500. Personally I would want even the smaller version frunk. Most dealer ordered MME's on the lot will most likely have that optioned.

Also the early GT models didn't have magneride unless you choose the PE model. 24 & 25 only had one version of the GT in that sense. Now I guess they are back to the 21-23 split.

I do wish they would have more wheel choices whether you pay $1700 for wheels on a 2025 or $3500 for the performance and handling package in 2026. At least a polished vs blacked out option.

The spoiler delete Rally option is nice but since we're deleting spoilers stripes and name graphics, I still would want different wheel choices on the Rally

With these changes in the order sheet I'd be curious to compare side by side pricing of '25 vs '26 as well as '23 GTPE vs '23 GT etc.

I did price a no spoiler or graphics '26 Rally vs '26 GT with performance and handling above and they were within $1,000 of each other. Around $58k each which compares to '25 sticker prices of $58k-$62k I see on local lots with performance upgrades & $1700 wheels. Before rebates and dealer discounts and not perfect comparison of course.

Possible that Ford may have to have more promotions this year since EV demand has fallen off across the board. A lot of that due to the expiration last year of the tax credit which the MME didn't qualify in the first place.

To your point- on the Rally you can't add a hood stripe without buying the Rally spoiler - total $1490.

You can still get the spoiler on its own for $995. I don't want a stripe or the spoiler but someone might want just the hood stripe.
