Just went out to the car to test something with expired navigation and I get a pop up that 24-PU0121-FTDI-FX is ready to install.

It's installing now. Based on the description, I'm guessing they modified the 12V charging algorithm to use the HVB to power or charge 12V so OTA updates can come through and install more seamlessly.

This is on a 2021 Job 1 (built December 2020) in EA with the last # update received being 6.4.0 in January 2024.

Remote start profile would be a very welcome fix. Though I am curious what they mean by “most recent”. Hopefully most recently used for that remote start profile, and whoever more recently used the car since I can barely get in with my wife’s seat seat settings.

Agreed. I stopped using the remote start because of it flipping to a guest profile and requiring me to stop start the car anyway.

You don’t have to restart the car!
You can change profiles while driving. Click on the icon on the top right. Or press the seat memory button for the profile (if assigned)

To me the stop start was faster the the profile flipping lag. Never thought about the seat memory button. Might try that next time (As I know I'm around 6 months behind this update ever getting to my car for some reason)

I’m assuming this update allows for better 12V battery charging perhaps before an update is installed to avoid the risk of it failing.

Three years later, has Ford finally fixed the remote-start-to-guest bug? Gives me hope that maybe they’ll finally add the trunk button, too.

UPDATE: I just tested the release, and Ford has indeed finally fixed the remote start bug.

Thanks!! I’ll probably need my laptop to get this one in, and I’m out of town without it, so I’ll get it updated this weekend. (Unless someone knows markdown and wants to submit a pull request.)

Interesting that it only inhibited 4 minutes. I usually put the “available by” minutes, which according to OP’s screenshots is 8 minutes, but it rarely seems to take the full time.
