What software is necessary to read the MME OBDII data for this test? Just what comes with the reader, or something else? I have an ancient USB OBDII reader I've never used, and can change the amperage on my Pulsar Plus 40 A.
Second on the CarScanner app. It is what I use and it even has prebuilt dashboards for the MME. I think you may need a new OBDII scanner though.

Hello there, welcome to the forum.

I am thinking about replacing my Grizzl E with a Emporia unit. A coupon code would help with the choice.

You should get a spot down in the sponsor section..
Hey Garbone, thanks for the warm welcome.

To help with your decision, we've made a special coupon code for the Mach-E forum.

Just enter '5%mach-e' at checkout on shop.emporiaenergy.com and the first 25 people to use it will get 5% off the Emporia Level 2 Smart Home EV Charger.

Cheers!

Do I need the bundle... ? Need to ponder that.

Third vote for CarScanner. I'm using it with the LELink Bluetooth adapter.

The coupon doesn't seem to work on the bundle and sold out for the other one. I may get a charger if a deal pops up over the holiday shopping season so keep posting deals folks :)

I have not taken advantage of the Emporia automation capabilities because I am using Hubitat for my home automation solution. I would really love to integrate my Emporia stuff with Hubitat. Is there any chance that could happen?
Thanks for that feedback. We've passed along to the team!

It is very handy feature to have.
I like to charge at 32A because the car seems happier that way and there is plenty of time to reach my desired state of charge. But sometimes I get caught out and need to get to 100% right away so turning up the speed to 48A (50% faster) is helpful.

At home I have a CPHF 50A and an Aerovironment RS 32A. I don't like charging fast when 32A will do so I park the Ford at the 32A plug and my wife parks her Wrangler at the 50A plug. Her Jeep only takes 32A anyway so that is all it will draw so when both vehicles are charging at the same time then it's less taxing on my breaker panel. In the event that I need a quicker charge at home then I just park in her space (but that is really very rare).

At work is different. We currently have Wallbox Pulsar Plus and JuiceBox units. I can turn up the Wallbox to 48A if needed but normally run at 32A for same reasons as above. If I have to turn it up then it is a very quick and easy thing to do via the app.
I mention this ONLY because I have not seen anyone reference it yet. The Ford provided L2 charger outputs at 32 amps, which I think is the L2 standard. Other fast chargers, i.e. L3 and L4 output at higher amps. Good to know that other chargers can adjust the amperage. I've had my MME for one month and use the Ford Pass App 'Departure Time' feature often due to cold weather. It allows you to set a time to depart, which the vehicle uses to warm or cool the cabin and to prep the high voltage battery, by drawing current through the charger rather than through the high voltage battery.

I don't think there is a standard output for L2, 32a is a common output however
