5/16/22 Build Week Adventures

I'm so mad. I just want my (all the profanities) car!!!! ? ? ?

So mad and I already have one! It was so close! At least I wasn’t that dude that was signing paperwork! I mean how much would that suck! I would cry.

I’ve spent the the whole day getting quotes for selling my 21. Thank goodness I didn’t make a move yet.

I know others have dealt with a recall and chip hold etc but man does this suck.

I was looking at getting my loan preapproval all set up and ready to go earlier today so it would be smooth sailing since mine was supposed to be 6/26-7/3. Glad I didn’t do that yet.
Curious if my VIN will for sure end up on the list.

Yours is probably hanging out with mine on the train in TN right now! I’m mentally preparing that every damn car will end up on the list. It looks like August. I hate to say it because it hurts my job and other people but here’s to hoping gas prices stay high so my 21 holds value.

Yes! I just figured you had one to somewhere in FL, but that’s where I ordered too! I‘m such a nerd and find that so cool… that some one else in my build week is at the same dealer. Maybe our cars can be lot buddies for the the 2+ months they sit on the lot!

I wish I could sue Ford for excess fuel cost and emotional damages inflicted on me due to this recall. If I wanna risk ending up without power on the side of the road, that is my right as a free American. How dare Ford take that away from me!

That's funny...I also ordered from that dealer...George Davis is my sales guy...I ordered from them because they had a test Mach-E I was able to drive...

Emotional damages for sure. I do appreciate this forum though because no one understands like you guys do. Even though I live in a work world of constant recalls it’s just not the same when it’s not effecting me personally.

My plan was to take the 5/16 build and then sell it for the next order with the new part with the rationalization that I didn’t want to go through the recall so I could have another tax credit. There goes that plan!

My original guy was Ryan and he doesn‘t work there anymore. Now I have some dude Trent. That’s the same reason I ordered.
