Me three. I mean, it's actually better for me to delay delivery until August but this is getting ridiculous (especially since I filled up my little 4-cylinder SUV in NorCal yesterday and it was ?)

I'm borrowing a car from family member haha. Mine sprung a bad transmission leak and I didn't want to spend a ton of money to fix it and fix all the other little problems that had been building up so I sold it to the dealer and have been borrowing from a family member who had an extra ever since. It's fine but it's also stressful driving a car that's not mine.

And I know, I'm super fortunate there was an extra car to borrow.

I agree, we are in 2022 and the actual situation last for now 2 years… manufacturers should (in my opinion) have a process like Amazon, Uber… like you know what is happening with your order and where it is. I can’t get why a company like Ford haven’t improved more their tracking tool. That is giving more work to their employees answering our demands and requests and it’s an headache for customers.

It would be nice if they even took pictures of the finished car. Like, I won't get it for another month, fine. But can I see my actual car so I can get hyped?

The ones who haven’t get their shipped status, I suggest you to ask to your dealer the full report of your car. I got mine yesterday (sorry it’s in french) but your car might be at the train station actually. Also I learned with it that my car was built May 20 and on the Ford tracking it’s May 23… I know, not a big deal but this help to understand the process. On May 23 it was in reality ready to transfer to train station. I also learned that my car was scheduled to be produce on May 30 week, than May 12, than May 16… I didn’t know this at all.

Also, of what I learned this report only refreshes on Thursday in the dealership system so that’s the day to ask them for an update. I am not a patient guy in life and I like to know what is appending but from now, I will only wait for my updates on Thursday because whatever happens, I have no control in the process.

I went to New York State for shopping yesterday. I was excited to fill up my SUV there. It was $4.79 ?? With devise conversion and unit (litre to gal) our in Canada is around $6.45

Amen to that. Gas is getting close to USD$6/gallon in my area; I really don't understand the people who idle their cars in parking lots with the air conditioning running, or who go for lifted trucks and mud tires (which almost never have a trace of dirt on them, of course) to even further decrease their fuel efficiency... how expensive does gas need to get for those people to think twice about fuel usage?

I have extensive solar panels and Tesla Powerwalls (home batteries), and so charging my Nissan Leaf costs me literally nothing except for about one month of the year, when the sunlight isn't quite as strong. Add to that the fact that next to no electricity is used unless I'm moving and/or running climate control, and it's great for efficiency. I'd probably be cursing under my breath every time I hit traffic with an ICE vehicle, thinking about how much it was costing me, but at this point I drive and don't give the cost a second thought, because there is next to none. Can't wait to get the MME and replace our second vehicle, so that we never need to think about a gas station or an oil change again...

Don't forget DRIVE THRUS. I don't understand them. You're wasting gas the whole time you're sitting in line. And to add insult to injury, often times they're even slower than just parking and going inside to order.

This Ford chat tracking is awful. Here's what I got today:

The railcar/vehicle has arrived at a 'hand-off' location and is awaiting pick-up by the next rail carrier. The current location is Laredo, TX. The ETA for the vehicle is 7/6/2022-7/12/2022.

This is at least five days behind what KCS railroad tracking says. Besides, don't know that there is a 'handoff location' at Laredo. Info parts do not match. I asked what is the next rail carrier, and that info is not available. Oh happy day.

No dice there. He let me know that the updates he’s been providing come straight from the VVR. My MME’s just sitting there in the gate area with its headphones on, grooving out to music while the final boarding call is announced…

The shipped status on the Ford tracker will never show a date. If it says shipped, that means it shipped. I got fooled by that one too, so don't feel too bad.

Dealer says my Orange Premium is in Laredo, TX with an ETA of Jun 28th to Jul 4th. Slightly different from the website.

I appreciate the updates since I haven’t been paying attention.

Called Ford today, was told that I have primary status as ASN and secondary Status as "Released".

Released means it was released from plant and with the carrier for shipment.
They don't know why there is a delay.

Today was EVSE install day! I had a pro come out to do the install because I did not quite feel up to the task of doing it properly. I'm glad I did, because they did a great job.

I also checked in with my sales guy again to get an updated order status sheet. It looks like my car made it to Laredo on 6/1. My sales guy says that now that my car has been imported that the delivery ETA should be pretty accurate. So with any luck I'll have my new Mach E by 7/6.
