How do you guys get shipping updates? Who gives you most detailed updates?

The shipped status on the Ford tracker will never show a date. If it says shipped, that means it shipped. I got fooled by that one too, so don't feel too bad.

The only shipped date I got from Ford was in the email issued 4 days after build completed. The Order Tracker app still shows my delivery scheduled for the week of June 19.

If you ordered online the reservation tracker should show an ETA.

If you want the "detailed" tracker like the one I posted, I got that from my sales rep. Note that it has both an ETA and a rail car number listed.

Once you have the rail car, you can in theory call the rail company and get tracking on that. Results have been mixed on that from what I've read.

There are also numerious threads about how to track your car if you care to poke around at them. Me? I've got my ETA so there is not much more that I care about until the delivery date gets close.

@KlueBat is correct, the best tracking is from the dealer, however, many dealers are reluctant to share that info with customers. Not sure why. Power thing, perhaps.

The Order Track app https://ordertrack.app is helpful until the car ships because it gives one place to access the Ford tracker, the module activation, and the window sticker. The shipping Information section is now almost worthless because it no longer updates.

My car just got to Kansas City, so I have some fresh experience with tracking. Ford.com Chat is the easiest with reasonable wait times. This is where you get a railcar number. Once you have that, call the railroad. Kansas City Southern 800-468-6527 ships from the plant to Kansas City MO, and they will provide location info of your railcar. Ford chat will also give you location, but it is very rough, only three locations given:

1. Lecheria MX - the load location at the plant
2. Laredo TX - US border
3. Arrived - Kansas City

It will seem like your car is not moving because Ford chat will tell you for 3 or 4 days that your car is still at Lecheria, when it is actually moving between there and Laredo.

My car is waiting for a truck to pick it up, so my dilemma now is to figure out how to track it, because something called Palsapp doesn't work anymore.

I don't even know. I'm just going to give up and wait. It will get here when it gets here. And no amount of worrying will make it go any faster so I might as well just wait and see.
Just hope interest rates don't go up too much...

Been texting my dealer tonight. He said my car is also in KC, but trucking it the 10 miles to the dealer could be a day or two weeks.

I’m guessing most cars also shipped on 5/25 or 5/26 are also here. So close!!

Does this location mean anything to you guys? The KCS phone system keeps telling me my tail car # has no status.

Internati is short for International Freight Gateway in Kansas MO. Aka Richards Gebaur
