I checked mine yesterday, it was showing as waiting for a transfer in Winston-Salem NC, so hopefully just a few more days to get to Raleigh area. Crossing my fingers it'll get here within the next week or so.

How do you know if you have price protection? Going to pick mine up at 10 and hoping for a smooth completion of the sale.

My sales guy at Mullinax said they are very aware of the price protection and the way it will typically work is pay the sticker price at purchase and then the rebate will be sent to us within 30-45 days. He said they have been honoring original price at time of purchase on some orders but it’s a case by case basis, typically people not using X-Plan. He said since I’m using X-Plan, I’ll likely have to wait the 30 days for the refund.

My new sales guy is much more informed and helpful. I guess he said the same thing since I’m doing X plan. My question to you or @voxel if you get your car before me is if you got it in writing for the refund. I’m fine waiting. I’m going to trade in my 21 so I won’t have sales tax. I just want to make sure it’s in writing. Mullinax seems to be pretty straightforward. Now if they can just get these cars in the shop so I can pick it up!

Any issues with price protection?

During this whole waiting game, my husband had only minimal contact with the dealership. He never had a conversation about price protection but on their website it explicitly stated "no dealership mark up." I made sure to get screenshots of this language. When we went yesterday to complete the transaction, we noticed on the window sticker an additional standard dealership fee of about $300, which wasn't enough to make us question it.

We spent all afternoon at the dealership and no paper work completed , the finance guy knew nothing about ford lease options said he would have to check into it ,and for us to just take the car and he would let us know when he found out something. So here it is Friday after 9 am and still nothing, but at least we have the car. He did say he talked to ford finance and they did not know what he was talking about.

I mentioned calling the VOPC to confirm and have gotten crickets since then, I saw smart vincent mentioned in posts on here but initially was just seeing it in relation to financing incentives didn't realize that could also confirm original pricing, that'll be my next message if they don't come back positive after this... appreciate it.

Now that I look at it, mine might have too.

Looking at this, my CA Rt1 ER AWD should cost $53,475, since I ordered November 11 and that page was last updated Nov 9.
