In my case, that meant that it was at the dealer. When I contacted the dealer, they said they would check their delivery lot, which was a couple miles away, and they were able to locate the car. I would guess that you're within a day or two of getting it since the dealer will likely detail and charge it up.

Well that would be awesome. I have tried calling the dealership multiple times but they seem to have trouble answering the phone. I didn’t want to just show up and start asking if the car was there.

I can only speak to my experience, but after I asked them about my car, and they verified that they could bring the car to the main lot that day, I made an excuse to be in the area and dropped by. I was told that my car was being prepped and that it would be ready the next day, so I thanked them, and I left. A couple hours later, they called me, and said that my car was ready to be picked up if I wasn't concerned about it not being fully charged.

Maybe your dealer would be willing to work on your car sooner if you were the squeaky wheel! Well, provided they answer the phone.

So the car did arrive today around 11:30am at the dealership, along with a bunch of other vehicles. They said they received it but didn't have time to get it in for its pre-delivery inspection today because the service department closes at 5pm on Saturdays. And of course, they are closed on Sundays altogether. So they won't be able to perform the inspection until Monday.

They also won't release the car or close the sale unless the battery is charged to 100%. To top it off, they won't charge the car until after the inspection. So the sales manager said I can come in to pick it up on Tuesday. Arrrrghhhh.... so the wait continues. For another 3 days. At least the end is in sight

United road for me was inaccurate. My car is showing as inactive meaning still waiting for car to reach richmond stop to hand over. My dealer called me and said it's been delivered.
AHHH!! Amazing! My car is in their system with a load number and everything! That's the most exciting indication I've seen in over a month! Now to just figure out how to track the load number.
This tracking worked for some not others. It did not work for me. What you see status says inactive. I assumed my car was still in Texas so said ok makes sense. Trucking Co can't start delivery until they receive the car. Yesterday inactive, this morning inactive. My car was delivered today to dealership. Thanks to this forum
If you are in their system then it should mean your car has been offloaded. I would guess you will have your car within the next week, fingers crossed.

So I see now that the load number is currently inactive but the route is from the BNSF railyard in Richmond, so perhaps I am being affected by the BNSF embargo? It's only about a 30 minute trip between the railyard and my dealership, so probably this ticket won't go active until the day the car is delivered.

So my united tracking status was inactive Thurs, Fri. Sat (just checked now). I searched by vin and all car.In actuality it was delivered by 10 am Friday and I just brought it home. 10 cars were delivered to folsom ford. They were not anticipating any cars. United shows no cars enroute or delivered.

Reached out to Ford Chat this morning. I now have a railcar AOK 501725, but the location is still Lecheria Ramp 5J, no word on who the carrier is. I tried someone's suggestion on the forum to try Union Pacific automated system with just the numbers (they didn't have a record if including the AOK), which said this car was loaded in Utah and is now empty, having been delivered 7/31 at 2:30am, but had no information for where it's been delivered(!). Maybe, maybe...

Hoping to get info about when my car will leave the rail yard. Been waiting a week for it to get onto the truck to go 10 miles. Went cross country in 2 days
In the same boat here. Mine made quick progress across country and has been sitting on a lot within easy driving distance for what will be 10 days tomorrow. Zero hints from either Ford or my dealer on how long this usually takes, so I'm just stuck waiting for it to magically happen.

Ditto…. Now at 14 days and counting since it made it to its final rail destination and awaiting loading onto a transporter to come the final 30km to the dealership. Sigh!

I am starting to get a little paranoid that my car has fallen into the Ramp 6U Muncie, KS black hole. Ford chat doesn't have any updated info and there is no tracking info for the railcar through Norfolk Southern. I know some people have had their car just show up hundreds of miles away from Muncie without any tracking info, so I am trying to convince myself that my car is covertly on the move to me...…but I have seen other people who's cars get stuck in KS for a month or more :confused:
Well, no car, no updated tracking info since 7/12 and my delivery window just got pushed back from 7/28 - 8/3 to 8/15 - 8/21. Here's hoping Ford tracking has no clue what is going on and it hits my dealer in the next day or two.
