I've read that the Palsapp thing doesn't work anymore. Once shipped, are we just in the dark until it gets to the stealership?

I got my railcar number by chatting with Ford support. Followed directions in "Trackers" for checking with CSX, but car location hasn't been updated since December.

Yes, notified by email earlier today. Batch 6819, 5/872. Shipped today to NW Washington State. Delivery expected 8/5 to 8/11.

According to the Ford Order Tracking site, my GTPE was built on 6/30/22 and has shipped, but it doesn't list a ship date nor an estimated delivery date range.

Where are you all getting estimated delivery dates? My dealer hasn't been very forthcoming, but the invoice they received from Ford says "Transit Days: 26". Is that a reliable estimate or does it mean something else?

Just chatted Ford and learned mine has made it to Laredo, Tx and is awaiting transfer to the next rail carrier.

Trouble is, I’m adopting a canceled special order (batch 6738, 164/600). So I don’t have access to the original order page. Is there any other way to get an estimated delivery date range? I suppose I can just chat with or call Ford customer service.

Update: According to Ford chat, my car is at the "hand-off" rail yard in Laredo, waiting to be loaded on to a train bound for Kansas City. Estimated delivery date to my dealer in the upper Midwest: 7/23/22-7/29/22. They should have updated railcar information as soon as the car is loaded on a northbound train.

This corresponds to the information provided by @FamDocDon. Our cars were built on 6/30/22, 14 units apart in batch 6739. Probably on the same train!

From what I've seen here, it appears the Cuautitlan Plant loads a train with cars from several batches before dispatching it to Laredo. So your car is probably on a train waiting for another batch to load later this week...
