I'm beginning to think that Ford Chat is mostly useless in tracking the delivery of our cars. Today I chatted with them and they told me my car is still at the rail yard in Kansas City, assigned to an Accelerated Services convoy. But when I contacted Accelerated Services on Friday, they told me my car was scheduled for delivery to my dealership on Saturday! (The dealership is more than 1,000 miles northwest of Kansas City...)
Ford Chat seems to have access to very limited information on the movement of our cars, especially once they're turned over to a railroad or trucking company.
Tomorrow I'll contact Accelerated Services again to see if my car was actually delivered to the dealership over the weekend. Perhaps I'll wake up to a message from my dealer saying the car is now on their lot! ?
