How did you initiate a connection to Ford chat? I have tried via my laptop and the app on my phone, but neither shows me a button to start a chat. I have disabled all ad blockers and deleted all cookies and it sill won't show me a chat button. This is frustrating.
I always got there at Ford.com, then Support & Service, scroll allllll the way down, to Contact, and click that. Then there is a Chat Sync & Service option, as well as a start chatting button. Sometimes, there's a Live Chat bubble at the bottom right of the screen at Ford.com. I *think* you have to be signed in.

Try this link though. If it works, hopefully it will bypass all the stuff above. https://www.ford.com/help/contact/

So on the homepage of Ford website there should have a menu drop down list, click that and then click on SUPPORT AND SERVICE and then click SUPPORT HOME and from there it should have a blue bubble for chat.
That's what I thought. I get no blue bubble for chat. Tried Crome and Safari. Tried Ford app on my phone and no bubble for chat. Something must be jacked up with my ford account. I told them about this when I called. Maybe it will get fixed.

At this point I'm nearly willing to fly down to Mexico and drive the car home myself. I wonder how many fast chargers there are between Mexico City and Phoenix. ;) Actually, a more realistic scenario is to drive my 2500 down there and trailer the MME to the dealer.

And of course you'd get the $1800 destination charge as a rebate :D?

I'm on a desktop with chrome and accessed the chat from the link sent by illinirdhd
I just clicked blue bar and it opened a chat window asking for your info including VIN.

Yeah ours is still sitting in Mexico based on the Ford App connectivity. When I refresh I can see the battery level go up or down, but geo location is still reflecting the Mexico plant and no physical movement/driving showing since 7/6. I’m honestly thinking about canceling the Route 1 and just grabbing a GT or Premium off a local lot. We’d be sacrificing the range which is the only thing slowing me from doing that.

Okay. I used Ford Chat just now too. I was able to get the rail car info and track through CSX. It does appear it loaded and left Mexico last night and is now in Laredo TX. So if anyone had a similar ship date that Ford supplied that showed 7/6, you may be on that train too.

I guess that also tells me to not trust the app connectivity to the car, or perhaps that only reflects last location when the car was actually on and moving, which was 7/6.

Did you get an email from Ford telling you it has shipped? What does the tracker website show? My app showed my car being last driven 6/27.

The dealer sent me a screenshot of a map view a few days ago and it looks like it's sitting in the plant parking lot. Ford phone support just said it's waiting for shipment. I sure hope it gets loaded onto a rail car soon.

yeah the tracker itself claims it shipped on 7/6, which aligns with the movement of the vehicle (in very, very tiny increments) via the app. Probably when it was moved to the train. App still shows it at the factory but Ford chat was able to give me a rail car number tonight and then I called CSX to track it to TX. So true ship date was really last night, not 7/6 as the tracker reflects.

Looks like we may be on the same train; I'm in NJ. I had a TTGX number so i tracked earlier through Norfolk Southern. That and CSX now say it's departed Laredo, TX tonight on a flat car...no ETA known.

That may make sense, since I’m in NY about 1.5 north of the city. I assume it’s a northeast bound train or at least set of rail cars. Mine isTTGX715921

Dealer confirmed Thursday car was in Laredo, ETA week of 8/1 to northern C through MassPort. @RedHookEnzo Did you have to create an account with CSX to track railcars?

Nope, you can call the automated line at CSX with the rail info. I learned it from the folks over at the Maverick forum who face similar impatience lol. Here’s a screenshot of the instructions:

For those that want to streamline the call, create a phone number per the following:
18002352352,,1,81814192#,YYYYYY#,## (81814192 = TTGX, YYYYYY is the car #). The pauses should be timed to the automated messages. Call the # and let it go!

Mine is now somewhere in Oklahoma, presumably now going up the KCS corridor to Kansas City. Watching the rail lines is wild. I assume a lot is topographical based, but they’re like all over the place. Yesterday it was Louisiana, into Arkansas, then into Oklahoma, then back to Arkansas.
