So BOF shows that weeks 8/1 and 8/7 are plant shutdown weeks. Will be intersitng to see if we get pulled up to an earlier week or push out to a later week

Why would they have moved us to 8/1 at all if the plant is scheduled to be shut down that week?

Ford chat indicated to me yesterday that the plant will not be closed the week of August 1. (Maybe that's wrong.) People have gotten August 1 week dates and late August dates so far, which suggests to me that the August 1 builds are squeaking in before a mid-August closure.

Well crap, me too. Stating to hate Thursdays. I’m wondering if it’s due to reports of the HVBJB still failing with the recall software applied.

So much for my optimism earlier this week about August 1 moving forward. Ford chat today now tells me I've been pushed to 8/15 (was 7/24 for a while, then 8/1 for a while). It looks like the factory really will be closed the weeks of August 1 and 8. Ordered 12/27/21 a Premium AWD SR.....

I can only pass on what other forum users disclose since Ford is so uncommunicative. At the moment, it looks like the August shutdown for routine maintenance is still going to happen. MME orders scheduled for 1 August build week have already been bumped to 8/15 week. I am at 32 weeks of waiting for a scheduled build date, so if I had been hoping for a July build date it was in vain and I can't get scheduled any earlier than 15 August build week. At any rate, Thursday (tomorrow) is the next scheduling date and there's a shot at getting a September build date.

edit: My order did get scheduled 226 days after my order. Sadly, it is two months between schedule and build dates, week of 9/19/22. VIN serial is in 50,000. VINs of MME being built week of 7/25 are in 38,000 range. So, it looks like Ford will try to build around 12,000 MME units in those ~8 weeks, including the 2-week shutdown in August.
