Oh I totally understand, that's just my personal view at this point. Still seeing conflicting information on if the Mach E does, doesn't, or partially qualify for the new credit.

Ok, I chatted with them and mine is also updated to a priority code 1, this update definitely happened in the last few days since I got a report from my dealer on 8/8 with a code 19. The chat person said the code 1 means its in the processed of being scheduled and they would expect to have a build date soon.

That seems to be the consensus on the meaning of Priority Code 01.
This is all very interesting.
I’ve only been here for a few months, but in 12 or so weeks of scheduling, I’ve never seen anything on the boards regarding priority code changes prior to like this. Maybe this is normal, but it seems like a lot of orders moved to Priority Code 01 recently.
I haven’t seen any responses from people who have not been changed to 01. Everyone that checked and is posting here has been moved to 01.

Maybe the people and the plant are rested, stocked, and prepped after the recent break. Maybe Ford managed their build scheduling fairly well and the remaining number of 2022 orders is, at least close to doable in the time remaining. That’s not yo say they’ll get to all of them, but maybe they’re….. on track???

(By the way, I say “01” because that’s the number that the Ford Chat rep gave me.)

Well, it could be that ford is moving everything to 01 to make sure the 2022 orders get cleared out before putting in 2023 orders which is really how it should be

That’s what a lot are hoping for…. Many for the tax credit.

Seems like every retail order got moved to priority 01, I guess that either means we are all getting scheduled or it was just done to get our hopes up.

I guess we will find out soon

ok IDK I ordered it online and when trying to chat with the rep they said I need to talk to the dealer, I only have an order # which they do not need. Rep said to ask my dealer for the order and sales code. I wish the online system would have more info

I’m having the same problem. Dealer that accepted my order is claiming they don’t have my order code and Ford can’t look up any details of my order without it. So frustrating.

My advice would be to talk to the finance manager or dealership general manager.

I guess we will find out if ford is trolling us changing everyone to a 1 or if everyone gets scheduled thursday.

Ordered online 2/2/2022. Maryland. Premium AWD ER. The original preview order sheet I have said Priority 19.

About a month ago now, I got an update from the dealer that I chose that it had moved to Priority 10.

With all the panic and concern with the tax credit changes I reached out again today to the dealer and the ford customer service chat and they both indicate Priority 01 as of 8/9/2022.

Here's hoping for a freakin' production schedule date and not being phased out of of the $7500 tax credit.
