I found that my window sticker was available today 9/2. My build week is said to be 9/12, but several folks in the 9/5 build week have seen their window stickers and batch number and my MME is in the same batch as theirs. It's an unusually large batch 8071 - 1350 units. I'm wondering if some of us 9/12ers got moved up again or if it's a batch that will take two weeks to fill.

My sticker isn't available yet, but I assume this batch info you are getting from the dealer? Mine is pretty quiet, but I also didn't reach out since the call that the build was scheduled (which I saw already online a day or two before)

Batch numbers are found on the window sticker. I've not heard that either are typically provided by a dealer. I don't think anyone will provide it to you. You must go find it. I guess that's the Ford way. Scheduling typically occurs weeks ahead of assembly. (I got my build date scheduled two months before that time and it's been moved up once, maybe twice.) Window stickers become available typically just days before assembly begins (keep checking the above link). Info on window sticker availability and batch numbers are provided by forum users. Batch numbers haven't much utility to us except to know where our MME may be in the assembly process in the context of postings by others who are in the same batch.

No window sticker for me yet, but I assume it’ll pop up in the next few days

My window sticker (batch 8071 562/1350) says "convoy" delivery to ramp CH27. Ford ramp codes can be found here: Ford Ramp Codes for Rail Stations | ⚡ Ford Lightning Forum ⚡ (lightningowners.com)
In my case, CH27 is a Union Pacific intermodal yard near the 60 & 15 freeways about 8 miles west of Riverside, CA. So, I'm assuming, when my MME unit is shipped, it goes from Mexico to Kansas City with Kansas City Southern Railroad, than Union Pacific to CH27 where it's put on a truck for delivery to "my dealer" ~40 freeway miles away. (At this writing, I've been waiting 39 weeks and my build week is still a week away, it seems. Delivery ETA would be around middle October or 10.5 months after ordering. Definitely NOT the "pony express".)

Hey all! I'm joining you from the 10/3 build week thread. Got a nice little email from Ford bumping me up 3 weeks today!

GTPE Shadow Black
Ordered 3/31/2022

Totally not your fault, but this really irritates me. I was given a production week of 9/26 with a VIN in the low 51,000s. I would think mine would get bumped to an earlier date before someone with a VIN in the 60,000s. I see several people that got moved up to the 9/12 week with VINs after mine.

Understandable - although I wouldn't put much stock into the order of VIN numbers for these last few weeks of production. The 10/3 build date had VIN's ranging from 54xxx to 61xxx if I recall.

Seems like Ford probably took their best shot at scheduling then began rearranging dates to ensure maximum production of the remaining 2022's. They don't really seem to follow a pattern.

Seems like a lot of the GTPE's got moved up. Guess they get higher priority since they probably bring in more profit

Agreed, I'm most irritated by the apparent corporate decision made by Ford months ago to give priority to Select and GT models, thus postponing lots of premium AWD ER orders to later in the production run, such as ours. We should have seen our orders fulfilled 12-18 weeks sooner. At the time we ordered, Ford's delivery ETA was 28+ weeks (which would have been June/July). My current delivery ETA would be ~Oct/Nov, (assuming Oct 24, 321 days or ~46 weeks). I suspect the average delivery "wait" on Select and GT model orders is much shorter. At any rate, my order is currently assigned to build week 9/12, although I have a window sticker that says batch 8071 which is scheduled to begin assembly 9/5 build week. As of this moment, I have no specific build "date" nor any modules. Maybe I'll see my order (VIN in low 50,000s) built right after those GTs with VINs in the 60,000s. ;)

I ordered GTPE 3/31 - also said 28+ weeks at the time. If built on 9/12 and delivered on 10/12, it would be exactly 28 weeks, just what the website promoted.

The GT's are not jumping your line, you're in a different line. There is higher demand on Premiums and Selects due to the lower cost/limited features. More demand = more/different raw materials and longer production time. I get that it sucks but it's the reality of it.

People seem to forget the (+) tagged on the end of the ETA. I think mine said 32+ weeks when I made my reservation. GT's and GTPE's were prioritized for profit. This is how the capitalist system works.

Annoying yes.. Fords fault for playing how they think is best for the company and Wall Street? No. That's what for profit companies do.

This is certainly a 1st world problem (annoyed at waiting on a ~50-60k car to be delivered). ?
