9/26/22 Build Week Chat

I was in "In Production" status for 8 full days before seeing modules. I was in the last build group (of four) in our build week. Those in the first build group started seeing them around day 4. If it's like our week, those in the first group might see modules start popping on Wednesday at the earliest.

How long does it generally take to start seeing modules?
My car has been in status for 1 day 3 hours.

I'm curious to see other responses on this as well. Car was built and shipped but the module info shows empty like yours.

I've tried to click download but get unable to open .ab file type error?

I think they all go by rail to Kansas City first. Then, it will go by either rail or convoy after that. Mine says it will transport via convoy after it gets to Kansas City.

I have read it repeatedly in this forum. In fact, people have said that even cities that are close to the train route in Texas get transported right past their destination city & all the way to Kansas City, then transported from KC to final destination.

ETA: I just realized you may have been asking where I saw that my particular vehicle will go by convoy. It’s in the bottom left area of the window sticker.

Online inventory for my SCal dealer shows a MME scheduled to be built this week from this batch 8458.

I've seen ramp RV2G for Maryland and DC delivery so perhaps it is an intermodal terminal such as CSX Hagerstown. KCS to KC, CSX KC-Hagerstown, truck from Hagerstown to your dealer in PA.

After a search on this forum and the available ramp decoder for RC6R: end users in Chicago, Michigan, Minnesota. My inference is that it is an intermodal railyard "centrally" located to these, such as Chicago vicinity. You might ask your dealer where they get their MME orders trucked in from. Lastly, Kansas City Southern RR merged with Canadian Pacific in 2022, so perhaps this is "new" to the MME delivery system because of that. There are multiple rail services in this part of the country so there are many possibilities.
