Ok i'm feeling pretty dumb, but cant find Ford chat. I went to shop.ford.com, on the bottom is support, -> contact us -> Chat (sync etc.) -> but it has no generic option to just ask about vehicle delivery - there is sync, waaranty etc. What am I missing, or am I in the wrong spot?

For chat says the last known status update was arrival in Laredo on 10/12. Seriously?! They said they don’t know if it’s currently on its way to KC, and they won’t know anything until it arrives there. I really wish they had gps tracking abilities enabled on the MME during shipping.

I did it myself for 240V outlet . I do not want to install the wall charger as i do not see the need (over night charging vs two/three hour less time). here is the material list I bought, (DO NOT BUY NEMA 14-50 outlet from Homedepot, they are for home use, not for continuesly pull 32~40A ). if you never done the 120V work at home , DO NOT DIY, hire someone

7. you need big wire/cable cutting tool, the 6/3 is big and very hard to cut

1 - excellent and perfect parts used for your setup, it looks so clean as well
2 - I am planning to do the same thing for my garage with very similar parts, except i have about 135 feet to pull, can I use the same 6/3 wire you used?
3 - my family member is a lisc electrician, so I might be on the same boat where I just have receipts for parts, do you plan to use that as part of your tax rebate/credit? How is the process for that supposed to work?

For #3 - just total up the cost of the charger, and install materials, + whatever your family member suggests (beer and snacks) as install cost. Then put that in the taxes next year and if you are using one of the tax programs, it should do the 30% of the total as a tax credit.

Per my dealer, my car is in Laredo, Tx. Estimated delivery window is still 11/11 - 11/17. Really hoping it doesn't slip since it's already far out, but I'm seeing some not so promising signs in earlier build week threads... :-(

thanks for reminding me, I just throw the receipt in tach bin , run over there and dig them out ,
for 135 ft long, i think it should be ok with 6/3 , as the capacity of that cable is 65A, but check with your family member

Yeah, when I ordered it was 1.4% and $1000 Ford options rebate and $1000 Illinois rebate. So no brainier- I hope it holds up with the $7500 fed credit and $4000 IL rebate- it's a nice chunk off.

It will be like printing money - That is illegal ;-). My dealer said they will do whatever is going to be lower current or at order.
