Next up - Dash Cams - YES / NO, I have never had one, even though i was once forced of the road by an idiot, and they didn't stop, I like the concept of the Donger Tech splitter from the mirror, it looks like a clean install with no wires, and not a lot of disassembly, and the Garmin Mini 2 looks small and inconspicuous.

So now that IFTTT is also pay, this is really not any different than paying MyQ for Google Assistant subscription. I think the easiest solution is replacing the bulbs, or switching the light off, alternatively I have started the using the MyQ app to close the door. Its annoying to have to use workarounds since this works seemlessly in my wife's car.

I know I was really confused/not pleased when it seemed IFTTT wanted me to pay for the MyQ applets, but I somehow got it setup without paying. I haven't really taken advantage of the MyQ one (planning to change that if I ever take delivery of my Mach-E). So I just tested it and it is working to control my garage and I do not pay - I guess it's because I'm still below the threshold of 5 applets for the free plan.

Ford chat just told me (as of yesterday) my car is at the rail yard in Las Vegas awaiting convoy to my dealer (27 miles away)! Dare I get excited now?!

I was so excited to get a VINView update text just now, thinking it would mean my car had finally moved. But no. ?

Im in SoCal too. Built 9/30. My original ETA was 11/1 but got moved to 12/3. Last Monday, the last location was 6R. I wouldn't doubt we're on the same route/railcar. I think there's something up with these California deliveries that nobody is admitting to. Big bummer.

More fun updates - Just did a 190 mile round trip, 90+ each way. Blue Cruise (hands free) both directions. Apparently Blue Cruise is a bad EV driver ????, 67% EV driving score going out 77mph, 3.4 mi/kWh, and 66% at 75mph, 3.0 mi/kWh. Around town, i have never seen my score below a 94%, but this was a good range test for me, as this is pretty much my longest drive on a semi regular basis, started at 90%, pulled back into the garage at 21%. ?

Our Mach e is at the dealers awaiting mechanic's checkout. They only have one mechanic on duty today though so they may not get to it.

I have a Dongar splitter in my current EV (not a Mach-E), and it works GREAT. I highly recommend them. Only issue was getting hold of the item as they were out of stock for a while (I have one on my desk waiting to go in the vehicle). Using the splitter really installs totally clean, dash cam turns on with the ignition and off again, when the ignition is turned off (I have a VIOFO A129 Pro 4K forward facing dash cam and it's been very reliable).

The other option you have for simplicity is getting a made-to-fit option like FitCamX which is basically the mirror's power/wiring cover with a built in dash cam. Although the company has assured me they sent me the Mach-E version (they were not fitting right apparently when they first developed them), the harness adapter doesn't look correct, so I may return it (they sell on Amazon).

of course you can always go bonkers and feed wiring around the header and all the way into the fuse box if you are feeling slightly bold - I installed the Dongar splitter and my dash cam in my existing EV in about 10' (the hardest part was getting the mirror power/wiring cover off !!

0 hassles at the dealership. Between Xplan, and $2500 for options, below MSRP, and Xplan minimized all the extra costs.
But i thought is was prepared, but i'm so lost, Soooo many settings, how do you set the home charging limit? So many questions. Car says is it up to date on the system updates, where do you find what the last update was? Feeling slightly overwhelmed.

Really helpful - am just a bit to the NE of PA from you - but mine didn't go on the train out of MO until Nov 2nd.

Mine departed for PA on 11/02 from MO as well. It's been at Conway Pa since 11/04 22:14hrs.

Having just got our MME yesterday the dealer had charged it to 90% and by default had set the "location" as home. when I tried to use that label it wouldn't let me so I used "work" then could go into the settings and delete the "home" location, then renamed the "work" to home.

From this to THIS in less than one week. What an upgrade! ?

Both my orders arrived on the same week despite having been ordered a month apart. And after 4 long days (the White one took me 3 days) of dealing with sales reps and finance managers that have little to no idea of Ford Options or how to properly put that plan on the contract, they’re finally both here.

The incentives from when I placed the order came extra handy given current interest rates. The GT I was able to get 1.40% APR for 48 months and 7,500 miles (40% residual on last payment). That’s an absolute deal given how little EVs depreciate. The Premium was 2.49% APR, same 48 months, same 7,500 miles with 39% residual. Both came with $1,000 cash bonuses.

Finally got around to posting this. Delivered Thursday afternoon after waiting since Jan 15th. Dealer didn't know it was coming that day until it showed up. Anyways, absolutely love it. So much fun to drive! D plan and Ford options accepted, delaer was amazing.
