I also want to note that the A2Z in the case fits snugly in the pocket in the back of the car on each side. No wiggle and no sliding around if you drive aggressively.
Interesting. It only fits snugly on the left side on mine. Doesn’t come close to fitting in the right side pocket next to the OEM sub grill.

Hi everyone, this thread is for those whose Ford NACS adapter is shipping after a few months. Are you going to wait for it to ship or have you placed order from A2Z or Lectron or any other brand?

I placed my order for the Lectron Adapter but not have any received updates on shipping. Did any of you start to receive the shipment from Lectron? Or any ETA?
I ordered one from Lectron and A2Z about a week after I reserved the one from Ford. No update on the Lectron. I have already received the A2Z supercharger adapter and I have tested it successfully.

Like some have said, I plan on having at least two on hand during trips in case of theft or damage to the adapter because of some routes having large gaps in charge station availability without acess to Tesla.

Good to know I should have my A2Z in a month, I hope. Road trip coming for Memorial Day.
I e-mailed them yesterday and got a response saying mine should be shipping today. Haven't received the shipping e-mail yet, but I figure it will be end of day. Be nice to get it here before I have to make a trip to SLC in late April.

EDIT: Just got my shipping e-mail. So 3 1/2 weeks from order to shipping notice.

Ordered A to Z today as I have a late May road trip and would really like an adapter, actually could use one this weekend for a trip but so it goes. My Ford adapters are not due til late June.

Is anyone planning on selling their Ford adapter and keeping their third party adapter?

Ford plans to sell theirs for $230 based on what I see online and A2Z has it for $167 after using the 15% off "FORD" code.

I would be tempted to buy a Ford adapter if someone is planning on selling that and keeping the third party.
Why would you buy one when you will get one free?

Until Ford figures out how to lock the adapter while charging, I have to plan on an adapter getting stolen while charging unattended.

My road trips need Tesla SC network.

I will keep both the A2Z and the Ford in the car...

Adapters are likely not lifetime one time purchase. They may eventually wear out depending on how often you use it. You could also drop it and break it, if you are on a road trip what would you do then?

This is in addition to the lost or stolen possibilities.

Most people will be able to get by with a single adapter until their next vehicle purchase, which will likely have NACS built-in. Have yet to see one case reported of theft, but I suppose it will happen. Just not sure how prevalent theft will be such that everyone should stock an immediate replacement.

Everyone on here seems to be "more is better"... Which I'm sure the vendors are appreciating right now.

That’s fair. Totally depends though. If you have an issue at a supercharger and need to be towed because your adapter had an issue or you dropped it and it broke while connecting, then it will be more than worth it.

Depends on location and the driving you do. It’s just an essential component and a redundant one is not all that expensive.

Once Amazon starts to stock these adapters, I won't have to worry as much (no long lead times).

Amazon will deliver same day or next day...

I was going to wait for the Ford adapter but broke down and bought the A2Z based on some upcoming trips.

Getting the adapter seated correctly can be a little tricky. Once you have it seated fully the switch will slide easily.
