Adaptive Cruise Control is Spotty

I read several posts regarding adaptive cruise control and not sure any of them address my issue. I'll be driving along with cruise control engaged and out of nowhere is shuts off saying "adaptive cruise control not available." I get a message on the app saying that the sensor might be dirty but this happens even right after I wash the car and I've checked to see if there's anything covering the sensor, but there isn't. I can barely get 20 miles without this happening. Ideas??

I would take it in and have the calibration checked. The cameras can cause problems if they aren't calibrated properly too. (at least on my prior vehicles)

Ya I was hoping to avoid that. But you're probably right
