I'm new here. I have the 2025 Mach E Select without B&O system. I'm trying to run speaker wires for the head unit (not sure what else to call it) to the LOC and then from the amp to the door speakers. I would be grateful is someone could tell me where to splice into the speaker wires. Thanks.

Howdy! Would rec my own thread on this for photos and details on this install - https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...nd-base-select-model-audio-information.33647/

There's a handful of other threads if you need some more pictures.

Curiously PAC Audio doesn't list the 2025 without B+O as compatible with this harness, but I suspect it is https://pac-audio.com/products/lphfd31 (might email them to confirm). I'd recommend using this as the install will be way simpler, it plugs in at step 6 in the PDF Ken linked.

Wow! I saw this thread before. Awesome build. Using the Pac audio harness, I suppose that I don't also need the Maestro module? Just plug and play?

Unless something has changed, the Maestro stuff is just for the B+O cars. In my car (2023 non-B+O) I use that harness and it grabs the high level signal from the head unit, carries it to the DSP (LOC in your case), then it takes the amp output and carries it back to where the head unit signal came from and sends it to the factory speaker wiring. No need for Maestro or anything else.

I did also use the extension part - https://pac-audio.com/products/lphext17, but speedwire would probably be easier to pull through the car.

Ok. Seems simple enough. Worst case scenario, it doesn't fit 2025 and I put everything back to normal

Found it. Thanks for everyone's help (especially Ken). With the step by step instructions, I was able to find the harness and get it disconnected. The rest is simple wiring. The Pac T harness adapter should work.

Ordered the T harness. Can't get a straight answer out of any of the stores as far as compatability with 2025 model. Harness looks identical to 2023 model. Worst case scenario, no sound to speakers.

I was the test case scenario for Pac Audio on their PAC AmpPRO AP4-FD32 harness as the FD31 harness did not fit my 2025. The Digital harness had a different connection in the back. The harness for the speaker wires were the same though which is why I could use their FD02 t-harness to splice in an amp in the back.

Unfortunately, my vehicle has no audio connections in the rear cargo area. However, I suspect that the harness I bought will work. Won't get it for about a week. Not in a hurry.

Finished! I started with Kicker 6¾" coaxial door speakers in all 4 doors. Sounded better but not good enough. After researching, and lots of help from this thread, I got the PAC LPHFD31 "T" harness, which fit and worked perfectly. Ran wires from head unit to AudioControl LC5iPRO 5 channel LOC (specifically for remote turn-off and base roll-off). RCAs to a Jensen JA5B 5 channel DSP amp and back to head unit. Added a Kicker 12" non-ported sub with enclosure and fired it up. After a few days of tinkering, the sound is 100 times better and (surprisingly) rattles the windows. I set the LOC to full range, all gains at 12 o'clock and AcuBass threshold to max. Used the Jensen App to dial the DSP settings (which are limited) and was instantly pleased. It doesn't sound quite as good as my old JL Audio system but instead of paying $5,000 dollars, I spent less than a grand.
