I have encountered the curious effect that after driving the Mach-E the ringer volume has been raised to maximum volume. It could be either because the Ford Pass is open on my iPhone or the iPhone connected to the Mach-E through bluetooth. Has anyone else experienced this?

Doesn't happen with my Android phone. Must be an iPhone thing.

Haven't noticed it on my iPhone 12Pro.

Yes I do. iPhone 11 with current iOS.

Have to turn down the ringer every night or I’m in for a rude awakening.

If you connect your iPhone via Apple CarPlay to Sync, it uses either Wi-Fi to connect wirelessly or USB to connect with a cable. In either case, the volume control is not available to adjust at all. It will not even show up on the phone display. Using Blu-tooth to connect your phone will allow you to adjust the phone's volume that can affect the Sync's volume but then you cannot use Apple CarPlay.

How do we determine if it is an iphone, a Bluetooth issue or a Ford pass issue, or some random electron sent by evil UAPs?

I'm experiencing this too with an iPhone SE2, quite annoying.
