Aftermarket cargo cover???

Its prolly better to put a wtb thread out in the classified area. I'm sure plenty of others have tinted it and be willing to sell. I totally do not plan to keep mines when i get my mme.

OK nope... I looked it up again, this time putting in my VIN number (instead of generic Mach-E) to see if I got better results... And that worked. I got an image:

42812 from that diagram is this $300+ part.

Save your money. That picture is of the floor cover not the "Cargo Area Cover, that is used to hide stuff in the trunk. The "Cargo Area Cover" is one layer of fabric wrapped with a wire frame, plastic things holding pins for the open end of the car and short strings to hang it near the seats.

Both things were in that picture. They are separate parts. The floor mat part is MORE expensive than the privacy cover.

It is insane to me, this is just some fabric over a wire frame, if that. I would like to not have to manufacture it by hand.

Does the Select really not come with the cargo cover? I thought it was included in all trims.

Driving around with the windows open causes the cover to fly up and down in the wind; very poor design. It will block your view out the back window and is very distracting as it moves around.
I would look for an alternative to this cover. Definitely not worth $300.

The stock screen does come with no-package Select, at least mine did. flaps around like crazy if windows are down, it falls out of the hatch retainer clips, and the plastic posts pressed on the fabric come apart.... very poor design.

I would consider fabricating with coroplast, or using a window screen roller attached to the back seats to come up with something better if the OEM part is $300.
