Twice in the last 12 hours the alarm in my car has gone off. The notice to Ford Pass said something like the security system has detected unusual activity and triggered the alarm. The first time it happened was at 3am, but I didn't notice it until this morning when I saw the alert. I went to the car and it looked fine. I went into the menu system in the car and turned the alarm to OFF. But then it happened again at lunch time when the car was parked outside a restaurant. I didn't notice anything amiss. I came out a minute later and turned the alarm off with the key fob. When I got into the car and into the menu system, somehow the alarm setting was back at ON. Now I have turned the alarm to OFF again and enabled the prompt to ask on exit. Then I told it to set to OFF as I exited the car.
Does anyone know what is happening? Any fixes so I don't disturb people at the hotels I will be visiting?
2023 Mach-E Premium AWD. 21,000 miles purchased in March 2024. I'm traveling and I just topped off to 100% using 120V outside the hotel. I've driven about 400 miles in the past four days.
